Did you even SEE Rice play?

I've seen a few games, more impressed by Irvins play.

Most of the Irvin plays i've seen he had to fight to get the ball then fight for YAC, best Rice plays i've seen was him running down the field, ball lands in his arms and he just keeps going and gets a TD, not impressive at all. good QB's made Rice.

Irvin made Irvin.

The playoffs are all about big plays and missed opportunities.

I still think if we'd made a FG or a TD in our opening drive in Minny...that we would have won.

I think the whole team starts to get a groove when we score on an opening drive. The fact that we didn't and came up short the first couple of times let the frustration set in and then it sort of snow-balled.

Why do you think Rice was so open? Maybe it had a little something to do with route running and being in shape...

You saw Rice play "few games"........and you come to the conclusion that Irvin is better than Rice?

Good grief. So, Romo is netter than Manning, Irvin is better than Rice - and Revis on the Jets is overrated.

Mouth - insert foot.

Irvin had a dang good QB too. Irvin didn't have the speed/skill to separate from defenders so he had to battle dbs. Rice on the other hand did have the skill/speed to get separation. They had different skills. Most people think Rice was better. Most as in 97%.

If the Colts lose I wonder what the headlines and BSPN is gonna say about Caldwell and Manning.

Should be more on Caldwell and Polian than Manning.

From what i've seen Irvin is way better than Rice, of course I didn't see all 5 million of his games since he was the first incarnation of Favre, and Revis is overrated in comparison to the people whom say he is the best CB of all time. He is a fantastic CB, the best in the NFL right now. But he is not the best of all time.

How bout ya'll keep this thread on topic and start a new thread on Rice vs Irvin or Romo vs Manning....

Sure during Big games, and against Physical Recievers you can take Irvin over Jerry Rice. But there is something abou the longetivity and what Rice produced over his career, that makes it no contest for Jerry Rice.

Heck, Michael Irvin thinks Jerry Rice is WR Jesus :D

Aikman is my favorite QB of all time- just so no one gets the idea that Im saying bad things bout him.

So im in the 3%, I like that.
