I'm not a NY Rangers fan either...and I am a fan of the stars...

I'm just happy to see the caps out
 
That was a great series, but I think it was pretty clear, even when the Rangers were down 3-1, that they were the better team, just playing poorly.

WAS has lost 5 straight series that they've lead 3-1 lol
Hank has won 10 straight elimination games, and an NHL-record 6 straight game 7s.

Rangers, I think, are the most complete team in the NHL, but the way they played against the Lightning in the regular season makes me pretty nervous moving forward.
 
Rangers only won it 2-1, but they handled the Lightning in game 1.

Top D pair going against the Johnson line and Staal blanketing Stamkos. If the Rangers can keep getting those matchups, it'll be a short series.

Yeah the Rangers looked good today. Nice to take Game 1. They could've been up by a few goals early on and definitely outplayed TB overall. Of course, since it's the Rangers, they have to make every game a nail biter. God forbid their fans get a chance to sit back and enjoy a nice, easy win. I'll take it though.
 
I expect it to be a 6 or 7 game series.

Tampa will adjust to the NYR speed. They've played 2 series against pretty slow and physical teams.

He is such a weasel, even a passive guy like Max Pacioretty wanted to punch him last series.

Underrated aspect of Hockey is to frustrate the opposing team and get in their heads.

It was mostly the Rangers mistakes that led to his goals. 5 on 5 he was still pretty invisible. Credit for capitalizing on opportunities, but that's about all he did.

He is one of those player's that you hate if he isn't on your team. When he is on your team then you love him.
