Seeing as AMC has been having a mini-series remake of the Prisoner (which I will watch the final episode tonight after recording it)....Here is Prisoner from Iron Maiden...UP THE IRONS.

Wow, I didn't know they were remaking that. I loved that series.

Great song choice also. I wore out their first three or four albums. Liked the Di'Anno stuff.

I think last night was the final night. They had three 2 hour shows of it.

Ya that was a great scene. Love Steve Vai and Ry Cooder. Good stuff. I was always impressed with Ralph Maccio's "guitar playing" in that movie. He did a pretty good job of looking like he was playing.

I was just playing Madden 2010. Guess what song they played?

I love it. Especially when I haven't heard great music in a long time.

Hmm. Thinking of that, I love this song too. (though I doubt k rock) ..at least in my bloodline...

Speaking of k rock, I like this too!

Any of you guys remember Pantera before they became icons? I saw them once in Dallas City Limits I believe on a new years show or something, but I used to see them almost every other Saturday night at Joe's Garage in Fort Worth in the late 80s. (88'+ I believe)

I remember Cowboys From Hell coming out, and for reasons I cannot remember, they were offered to go nation wide, but refused. I remember my sister's husband's sister dated Phil in sometime around '88 when he joined Pantera, but obviously he went down hill quickly after he hurt his back and other reasons.

Besides Joe's Garage, I remember some techno dance club that I visited with this chic more than a few times (I believe around 94ish) I used to know that was near Forrest and i30. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the joint though...

Well, I used to go see them at the Basement but I believe that was after Cowboys came out. DCL was a great bar. I used to go there quite a bit.

Speaking of old Pantera...
