I'm glad we don't have Jacobs i can't stand that guy, If MB3 had the giants run blocking he'd put up sick numbers. I wanted Ross in the 07 draft but meh he's only been so so for the giants

I've been a little critical of MB3 lately about not hitting the hole hard enough (and it's true) but Jacobs tip toes way too often. He lowers the boom when he has someone vulnerable for him to run over, but he is the most tentative 250+ Lb run I've ever seen (I believe Troy Hambrick weighed under 250 ).

That was 2 of the weakest calls, on 3rd and 4th down, in a tight game, in the 4th quarter that I have ever seen.

It is not that simple. Every good team can have a bad game, even the Giants and if your coaching staff is proactive you will readjust. But the Giants have a very solid Oline and defensive front. Their running attack with diarrhea mouth Jacobs has gotten better and Miss Eli has also improved.

Their linebacker corps and secondary have become more consistent and playmaking. Their special teams has remained above average. Add in a former Eagles aggressive defensive mind in Spagnolo and then opposing qb's soon will find themselves on their backs, looking up and figuring out what kind of cloud formations are in the sky.

It is the sad truth and it sucks but the Giants coaching staff and GM had a step on us optimally building their team. That is what head coaching continuity does for you and their staff is no nonsense and holds their players accountable beyond mere media fed words. Please note that the Giants are one of the less penalized teams.
