Dallas is better than the Giants, the only reason they won that 2nd game was the weather and Dak struggling to throw the ball in it.

I think they are sick of hearing how the Giants have their number etc, it ends Sunday Night!

OBJ is not going to play well if he plays at all. They cannot run the ball and Eli is on the decline. Our back 7 tackles well and our DL matches up every well with their OL. Lee, Jones, Scandrick, and Heath are going to provide good coverage in the middle of the field. Wild card there is Jaylon. Collins can feast on that soft middle fo the NY line. I like DLaw and Mayowa's quickness against the slugs the Giants have at OT. Too bad Irving is not playing.

Hankins loss is severely underrated by pundits. Him not being there makes it easy to double Harrison. JPP is not going to overpower or out quick LC. Our 3 TE and FB are all + blockers and will be a significant advantage on the edge and second level. We will run the ball better than we did last season.

The receivers and their secondary are a good matchup. I do think we are going to be able to keep them in base and nickel most of the game and exploit their LB; the FS is nothing special. The key here is Dak's ability to decipher what they throw out there given his troubles last year. He's been preparing for this for over 7 months.

Most teams come out sloppy. The first few weeks in the NFL have been plagued with penalties, missed tackles, blown assignments, and sloppy play since the new CBA. We have had an extra week of practice over what the Giants have gotten.

I don't think there is much doubt about that. Hankins is not a world beater, but he paired well with Harrison to make inside running very difficult.

Now it will be Bromley (who is hurt) and/or Tomlinson. Not quite the same thing.

The last 2 games were low scoring and extremely close. I am leaning towards a more typical high scoring game with Dallas stretching the lead in the 4th.

A long shot? LOL. We were 13-3 last year. They were 11-5. They beat us twice. I believe we beat them 4 or more times in a row before that.

We are a better team this year playing AT HOME - where we did not lose after week 1 during the regular season last year.

We are favored in Vegas by 4 or more points.

Dallas will mostly likely win. So, "brother" you are being pessimistic.

You very well could be right, yet I'm mashing the pedal at a convincing 34-13 big D victory,,, as those spines barely averaged 14-17 ppg last season, and unless Manning hits our back field hot-n-heavy,,, I don't see them changing that casing-liner metric especially if OBJ is gimped
( never discount those timely golden call back flags,as they definitely kill tempo , yet #4 is the type to overcome that as well)

I think Giants are going to be one of the best teams in the league this year. Beckham, Marshall, Shepard, and Engram along with that defense. I just don't think Dak is going to take apart that D.

I feel like we are going to see a little bit of role reversal from last years opener.

I think the 4th quarter will be back and forth. I think the giants will go down the field and score to take the lead 28-23 and then this year Dak and the offense will answer and then go for two and fail taking a 29-28 lead. With a minute or so less the game will be in Manning's hands and the Dallas defense will get a stop and win the game.

after all the talk about the Giants defense it will be the Dallas defense that closes out the game.

The giants have just talked too much and have passed confident and turned into arrogant. Cocky smart not Cocky stupid is the old saying and the giants have become Cocky stupid. Harrison saying he bullies the bullies in reference to the cowboys line, Collins and JPP both saying they will be defensive player of the year with JPP saying he is the best player in the league etc. It feels like the 2012 opener where NY wouldn't stop patting itself on the back and Dallas never said anything and won the game.
