NYPost: Giants couldn’t ask for a better setup to catch Cowboys in East

this is the worry for me. The ny writers love to play this game. They hate on their team every week but two. When they play dallas all the writers write about how great dallas offensive line etc is basically to motivate the giants because they hate the cowboys more than the actual giants players do.

If we get two of the next three and they lose one unexpectedly to cincy or chicago we are in great shape but if they get rolling and we lose 2 of 3 that game in NY basically could determine whether we have a shot at a week off in the playoffs or if we have to go back to lambeau or to seattle in a wild card game. It is incredibly different.

I don't ever discount what any of our rivals do or can do. NY has enough pressure and blitzes well enough to create problems for us. If they attack Dak like they did the Eagles then we may have problems with it. He's got a few more games to grow and Romo has more time to get into shape although I suspect he's already there or very very close.

Why not them? Well, they can't close games out to save their life. It was not Coughlin.
Yep. better playcalling from the Eagles and they choke that game. They tried everything they could to give the game away to the eagles. I like Perkins though but their offensive line is terrible. They are the 32nd in the league in rushing.

Contemporary Cowboys would have wiped the field with the week 1 Giants, don't think that they have gotten much better during the season.

Their muppet head coach does not believe in running the ball just like his mentor Mike McCarthy.

And that may cost him games in December. To me, their schedule that month doesn't look all that easy.

I don't think the Giants are a bad team but I do think not having a running game, like at all, is going to bite them in the rear down the stretch.

If we beat the Giants in the rematch there is a low probability of them being able to catch us but right now the tie breaker is problematic.

This article is right. If the Giants sweep us then the margin for error gets razor thin. I would have preferred that the Giants lose to the Eagles because the Eagles will lose games that they shouldn't lose going forward. The Giants are a little bit less likely to do so.
yeah we need to win the next giant game....... and all the others!! that will do it.

I think Cinncinatti will be a test. for them. They are very one-dimentional,

The Giants defensive line matches up very well with the Cowboy offensive line. Both Damon Harrison and Johnathan Hankins are the types of defensive tackles that create problems in terms of crossing their faces on reach blocks (due to their size), and both are difficult to drive block. Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul are two of the quickest ends in the league, and can be difficult to get your hands on. They key in Dallas being able to beat them will be Prescott identifying open receivers much better than he did in Week One. He left a lot of production on the field due to inaccuracy.

Zeke is going for 150 against them in the second game. You think that first game loss doesn't bother everyone? They're going to be looking for revenge. That has statement game written all over it, and not a good statement for the Giants.

Giants could be in the middle of a 6 game win streak, but their December/January schedule is brutal. None of teams they're facing currently have a losing record and 3 of those 5 are road games. And the Giants, like Eli, are the definition of inconsistency.

They may make the playoffs, but they aint winning this division.

Funny how he just dismisses the Eagles and Skins rematch as a non issue.

The whole article sounds like he's trying to convince himself.

I think all 4 NFC East teams will be fighting for a playoff spot late in the year. Those games are going to be tough.

Also, just because the Cowboys dominated Cinn and the Bears does not mean he should overlook them either. The Bears just beat Minn too and they have Cutler back.

I seen that Victor Cruz left the game with an ankle injury on Sunday? Anyone know how bad it is? Could hurt them offensively if he's misses some time.

We can go 4-4 over the final 8 and the gents would have to go 6-2 to tie us. Anybody see that happening??

Nope.
