Romo could usually dodge out of sacks, but not today. It was embarrassing out there.

I disagree. Man for man this OLine is as good as anybody...blowing assignments and having Witten trying to block Allen is coaching. All coaching. It's the coaches job to get guys into position to make the right play.

you clearly were watching a different game

The line stunk it up today but Romo still has to get some of the blame.

Our line always seems to get exposed in the playoffs. We need to invest heavily in the draft so that we can turn over some players on that line.

That's who this game is on!

Anyone that blames Romo has no idea what they are talking about.
Who's fault will it be next year, and after that, and so on?

I don't think any QB could have done much more behind that line today

He audibled to the correct play ... the problem is the offensive coordinator has a undying crush on a runningback who runs a 4.8 with a bad knee and can't out run a 280 lbs. defensive end in space.

I can take just being manhandled (well not really, because we do have probably the highest paid OLs in the NFL), but the Minnesota DL was going completely untouched through our OL because they looked like they had never seen a simple twist, stunt or zone blitz before. Just completely and totally unprepared for some pretty basic defense. Old Man Houck must have been snoozing in the recliner, clipping coupons and watching Matlock reruns all week. The good news is the Cowboys played the early game so Old Man Houck should be home for 60 Minutes.

Like I said.....it seems as though someone has no idea what they are talking about.

Thanks for re-enforceing what we all already knew.

Well I guess there will be little debate about going after OL early in the draft now.

Just terrible. Looked like 2002 sometimes.

Take of the day.

All in all, this sucks. It's been so long since the 'boys have experienced success. My son is 13 years old, and he's only seen last weeks win as playoff success. Unimaginable during the Landry years. Maybe some day Jerry will realize he's the problem, this past draft was typical. The best player drafted (of 13 picks?) was a danged kicker.:banghead:

Yes, the O line got smacked around today. Romo never had a chance.

If we don't make major upgrades?

I'd wager on the Oline again.

Romo was sacked more times today than any other game in his career. Think about our line over the past 4 years and the injuries we've had and put into perspective just how badly they were whipped today.

Well, until the o-line actually shows up in a playoff game, they are probably going to get the blame.

Colombo couldn't handle the speed rush

Flozell did ok vs Allen, as did Free. The inside did so-so, but not good.

this game was on them, b/c the Vikings didn't send a lot of extra blitzers

Not much debate about that. Totally got whipped up front. Romo had no chance whatsoeevr to find guys downfield, because he didnt have time.

Colombo was a turnstile. I still think he'd probably have been benched had Adams not got hurt, but thems the breaks.

As a unit, that OL today is one of the worst performances I've ever seen us have in a big game.

This probably cost us the game. I thought that Colombo would be benched for sure... He was getting beat every play. Then Flo goes down and all hell breaks lose.

At least Free can be expected to play a lot better when he has an entire offseason to prepare for the LT spot.
