I missed this as I walked out of the room smiling after the first kneel down. Thanks for posting! Love it...

That, oddly enough, is the reason I became a fan of this team. I thought that was the coolest thing as a young kid.

Even way back then I was focusing on the line play.

I had to re-watch the video a number of times because my eyes kept going down to the final score :D

I suppose you could say we got a hitch in our get-along.

I was pointing and screaming about that when they did it the first time. Then came back and did it again.

Somewhere on a gridiron in Heaven, Tom Landry just smiled.

What makes it even sweeter is the style our Oline plays with. No nonsense, gonna hit you in your mouth and when you get back up I'm going to do it again. They honored Landry in their performance, all the way to the last snap.

Landry was before my time. Well I was 5 when he was fired and I have no recollection of those days.

Can someone explain the origin of this to the younger generation? I get they did this in Landry's days but what was the origin behind it all?

Landry liked shifting RB around in the back field and as the QB was making the shift the OL would go from a crouch position to standing up then down into the stance so to block the view of defense as the shift was taking place

What was really cool about the 70s was that the Cowboys were the only team in the league using the shotgun. It was "new age" football back then.

Landry was so far ahead of everyone.

And Landry was the defensive coordinator, too. Think about that.

Who best to know how to attack a defense and knowing what give defense a harder time than a defensive coach. :)
I always get a kick out of those who seem to think defensive coaches do not know offense, they know offense very well this is what they are constantly looking at.
