Anyone have insights into the O line from last night?

I notice that Peters only played 4 snaps and I'm pretty sure I saw at least one play that was not good.

On the broadcast they said it was McG that got walked back into Rush later in the game but I thought it was TB. I didn't rewind to verify though.

Given the size, strength of the Philly front I don't think they played terrible but are they good enough to hold up against the best, not sure.

Overall I think they did pretty well Cowboys run game was working pretty much, Rush was not sacked in the game. He did have some pressure but no sacks.

Rush was pressured enough that it threw off the timing between Rush and the receivers. Job accomplished by the Iggles pass rush.

The line played well. They gave up no sacks and few pressures. Once they figured out how to double Davis, the running lanes opened. I think our offensive line out performed the Eagles line. Steele is becoming a good right tackle to go along with Martin’s greatness. Tyler, McGovern, and the Badger have held their own. The line is good enough.

Left side of the line got abused in the pass game. I thought overall the oline did really well with the run. At least once they brought in heavier formations and started doubling guys inside. Philly was playing 5 on the line often early on and their interior players are just better than ours in 1v1 matchups.

Left Guard is still a black hole as far as pass protection goes. It’s really a shame we can’t find a LG that can pass block. It’s concerning because Dak has been uncomfortable with pressure from that spot for a couple of years now and this will continue to be a problem. Tyler Smith got beat a couple of times off the edge. He’s a rookie and he’s a lot better than I though he would be, but he could still use a TE to at least bump the DE to slow him down. Other than that they did fine. Steele had some awesome run blocks. Zach is solid as they come. Tyler Biadasz seems to be doing just fine. We have to find a left guard and McGovern and Farniok are not it.

I thought they did ok.
Not great, but they did not get embarrassed either.

I’ve seen worse, but made me wish that Plan A had worked with Tyron at LT and Tyler at LG. Especially those pass formations 4th quarter.

Steele is becoming a stud. He literally put Cox on a blocking sled and drove him out of view.

Steele was doing this to guys last year too. If he gets into a guy, he will just wipe him out of the play.

In pass pro, if he had elite quickness to keep guys off the edge he would be top shelf. He generally gets it done with technique .... but he can be beat with speed or set him up and the spin back inside.

Still, not bad considering the investment!!!

A healthy, younger Tyron & him would be sweet. But it was not meant to be.

Not always perfect but i haven't seen them be that bad. I haven't been watching anything other than broadcast footage though. If you have some videos, please share.
