O-line play

I know every post right now is supposed to be about how terrible the team is or how they're going to bounce back, but I'm changing up the gears, because after all the injuries we've had I fully expected to go into the bye 2-2, and even though they gave away the two losses, it is what it is.

I want to talk about how well the O-line played against the Lions. They still have some work to do to get better at run blocking, but I know there were plenty of people who literally thought Suh would be in the backfield every pass play. Funny how even though they're smaller and inexperienced, those NFL players like Nagy, Costa, and Kosier(not inexperienced but still not a mauler) can actually handle their own, even against his holiness Suh.

They played a solid game. I mean, I thought they would, but even I didn't think the only impact play Suh would make would be a 15 yard penalty against his own team. :lmao2:

Will this team make the playoffs? Maybe, maybe not. They're going to have to finish off games and win some nailbiters to do so. All I know is not that long ago I didn't even know if I was going to get to watch the Cowboys on sundays, so I'm enjoying the ride.

I cant believe how good they played. Prior to the game, I actually thought we would lose simply because Suh would tear a hole in Costa/Nagy/Kosier. But they did amazing.Very impressed with them.

They may not be the biggest or most talented, but I think we have a very smart OLine (for once)

I was very happy about the line play. All week people talked about how Det would abuse them well that did not happen. These guys did a standout job

I really think once they've had time to gel the run blocking is going to improve and it's going to be a really terrific line. I've been saying for years I wish we'd get some young athletic linemen and just throw them to the wolves, and I'm so glad the team is finally doing it.

the last 2 games, the run game has absolutley been solid (119 ypg.) They need to stick with it more. Repitition leads (normally) to success.
