Anyone catch the first quarter? NFLN didn't start showing the game until the second quarter for me. Fortunately we kept the first team OL through the second quarter, and they looked very good (though they were playing against scrub Raiders at that point). Curious to see how they performed in the first half.

I stopped watching at some point in the 3rd quarter. I just can't watch guys play who won't even be considered for the practice squad. It's almost as bad as watching high school football.

Romo only got touched once and on that play he still had of plenty is passing time.

first team o-line was good, they should stop playing Tfred at guard though.

So how is RG? I keep hearing people compliment the whole OL but then only ever mention everyone's name but RG. People were going crazy about Arkin against the Dolphins, and the next night Jerry offers Brandon Moore a contract. I guess what I'm trying to say is how did Bernadeau look?

I thought starting OL looked good. After that Frederick struggled at G and Costa got pushed around as usual.

Yeah, no complaints. Couple of dumb penalties in the red zone killed us. Romo had plenty of time all game. We ran the ball reasonably well.

Was that in the first quarter? He only played C in the second quarter from what I saw.

i think in the 3rd,he is not real quick to play guard and he missed a block and tanner got popped.

RG is definitely the weakest spot on the O-Line now, but Bern looked pretty decent tonight.

Good job.

Romo had the time.

Just got to stop the penalties. If we could only stop shooting our own foot. Its frustrating as hell.

Romo held onto the ball for like 6 seconds on his sack, other than that no breakdowns in pass protection.

Big issue was penalties. Hold on witten on running play. False starts on hanna and leary. I think there might have been another penalty too.

Run blocking was tough to evaluate, there were very few running plays because of the penalties. Maybe 2 total.

Marc Colombo was on the pregame show and he said playing Fred at G was a big mistake in his opinion. Said he looks good at C, that's what he was drafted to play, and he should stay there regardless of who they put next to him.

I agree they need to stop trying to forcefeed Costa into the line-up. Keep Frederick at his natural position where he excels. The O Line looks way better than last year. I'm not sitting here wondering why the running backs are getting tackled as soon as they get the ball and Romo actually has time to throw.

The Rono sack was hilarious because it was classic gunslinger. At least he ate the sack instead of sending up a prayer but there was zero need to lose those yards unless he was just like screw it, it's preseason.

I thought the line looked pretty good early as well.

Doesnt hurt to give him some position flexibility experience though. If we had two guards go down he may be our best bet at guard at that point with Costa at center.

To be honest, he might end up being our best lineman this year, period. He's looked excellent.
