I recall watching the Vikings playoff game year before last and thinking that the o-line was completely exposed and needed to be rebuilt..then nothing last year as Wade rode the same group to the bottom (how many times did Leonard Davis need to completely whiff on a block? Colombo, please?). Why hasn't anyone in the media mentioned this was too long coming but rather focused on it being either a new coaching regime or the dreaded "rebuilding"?

Should have been done last year Jerry.

Thanks for the insight.

:laugh2:

I just hope we hit with at least 1 of the 2 other new guys on the offensive line besides free, smith and kosier

Agreed.

The line should have been blown up after the Minny debacle.

It should have been addressed a year before that. There were a handful of us calling for it even back then, when most of the site was concerned about what we'd do at WR without TO and Tony Romo going to Cabo over a long weekend off.

(cough, cough) Not to mention a secondary that has not been properly constructed for over a decade....

I completely agree, was thinking the same thing watching that playoff game

Yep, if I were a lesser man I would go back and dredge up the multitudes of Polyanna posts stating the OL was "above average" and needed nothing. (first I would want to go back and erase all the posts where I was about something though)
