I just got back from the movies and invincible was fantastic.

It was as good as rudy, mark wahlberg is great and it looked like Rocky.

South philly in the 70s! It was just like it.

Anyway, if your looking for something to do tonight, go see invincible.

They show texas stadium a bunch and have landry and pearson and staubach portrayed in the movie.

I am pretty sure they used the crowd from last years Eagles cowboys game, so anyone who was there like myself, you are up in the stands somewhere. I know they filmed at the stadium last year the morning after the giants game oct 16.

Anyway it was a great movie.

Call me petty, but I wouldn't be able to get past the "Eagles" thing. Of course, I didn't like Rudy either.

i wanna see it...i have friends who were extras for the film.

the real guy called it 85% true.

not bad, considering how hollywood likes to dramatize everything.

Eagles or not.

It is a great great story, its the underdog overcoming odds.

My favorite kind of movie. It didnt seem to have any hollywood in it, it was a good movie, and a good football movie.

The texas stadium stuff looks great and so does the vet.

I guess the 15% portion is that Marky Mark is about 5'-8" if that much and the real Vince was 6'-2".

What's the story?

Didn't he get owned by the Cowboys only to bounce back in great fashion against the Giants, or is this just my imagination?

I won't see it, like a few others on the board, I boycott movies that portray America's team as the bad guys. Besides, I live in the Philly area and the EAGLES chants in the crowd would drive me nuts.

Bad guys? Who told you that.

Nothing of the sort was portrayed not only that but there is a scene with papale saying These guys are going to play staubach, white and ed jones this week. Complimenting them.

They made texas stadium look great and there is nothing portraying Dallas as the bad guys, you got some bad info there bud.

Well I have been to the vet a couple times to see the cowboys and I also saw a couple braves phils games there with a friend.

The crowds in philly are unique and being a cowboys fan I think it is fun to have teams and fans like theirs to play against.

It's just a feel good movie about an undrafted player who played in a team that never won jack.
I can only see it now.
"The Return Man",from driving a beer truck,to a career in the NFL,the Micheal Lewis story...how come they don't make one about Eric Swann?
At least he had talent.

Now, Little Giants on the other hand, I used to love that movie, until I figured out that it was an attack against the Cowboys. Now I get disgusted everytime I see that cover.

Just giving ya a hard time man.

The truth is as I've said many times before I've never met an Eagles fan I could stand to be in the same room as for 5 minutes, and I'm being completely serious.
So what is a unique and gratifying experience for you really sounds like the perfect description of hell on earth to me.

But thats cool, different strokes.

It's one of those feel good movies... I love that stuff. Makes the average shmuck feel like he has a chance of making the NFL :)

The Rock has another one coming out in a few weeks.
