Are they a serious sleeper team this year?

We were talking about the Bronco's at work and some of the guys were saying " Ya those losses hurt, but they should still win that divison"

Honestly I think the Raiders are probably the better team right now and could win 11 next year

They should be pretty good. Don't see a team beating the stealers or the pats to the superbowl.

They arent there yet. 1) Need some work on the OTs 2)There talent (Carr, Cooper, Mack) is too young to be legit contenders on the Pats and Steelers level

I think the Jags make a jump, but I dont think they are as close to the playoffs as Oakland

We can revisit I think they are both playoff contenders. They both made positive strides last year and both have two up and coming QBs that came into their own last year. With what they have done in FA thus far they are only getting better.

I think in the afc its the steelers and the pats who are truly competing for the superbowl.

Definitely

With the Jags I want too see them add more talent on the OL. Very spotty. I can see them going OT at 5. Raiders need an OT with Penn an FA, but they have a very strong interior.

Raiders have a weaker division as well IMO

Agree either way both teams are fun to watch right now. I posted yesterday both have their own version of the triplets and have continued to build on that. In a couple years we could be watching them in a AFC Championship game.

It will be interesting to see of Jacksonville can get anything out Marquise Lee. He is the type of WR that can mesh really well with Robinson and Hurns. Interesting that Robinson has such a high YPA. When he came out I though he would more of a chain mover then a big play guy. Goes to show how these players can surprise you

Agree he is the real deal though and a legit number 1. The rb situation is still a little dicey with Murray and Yeldon/Ivory. Not sure why Fox had issues with Murray it was his first year as the starter and while he didn't excel all year he sure looks the part to me. Big guys with that type of speed are few and far between. I was surprised to see the Jags sign Ivory but then again those Bama backs are just overrated imo and when they get a chance in the NFL doesn't take long for these coaches to see that i guess. Will be interesting to see if Oakland takes the same approach and brings someone in to complement Murray. I wouldn't be shocked to see Foster land there.

Raiders and Houston both could be contenders next year.....and I hope they are honestly.......I hope the Pats and Stealers both struggle to win 5 games......

My "sleeper team" last year was Dolphins, and they blew it.

I have the Jags on my radar now and still the Dolphins as well.

Also, still hate that they got Ben Heeney. He's going to be considered a steal in a couple years.

I think the Phins goes as Tannehill goes. He is a good QB but he needs to be more consistent. Thats a tough division too although I think Jets could be in trouble if Fitz leaves.

Buffalos defense is going to be interesting to watch. They had some trouble adjusting to Ryans scheme last year but they are very talented on that side ofnthe ball and if Ryan does anything well in the NFL its coach defense

I just find it hard to take seriously a team that has a dirt infield right smack in the middle of a football field. Maybe they have changed that field this year.
