Do you think they are worth it?


I just bought a pair and they are the exact same frame as some cheapo's I bought for 9 bucks.

The Oakleys are definitely made better but I can't validate the price difference.

I get all my "high quality" sunglasses at Wal-Mart. My girlfriend keeps breaking all of them so I refuse to spend more than 10 dollars on a pair.

Bolle. Similar, but cooler and you can get a pair for like 65 bucks.

All I wear is okaly, I must have 5 or 6 pairs. I wear my Radars when I'm not at work and my M frames at work because i need to have eye protection and the way you can change the lens makes it convienient I get mine from their military site, www.usstandardissue.com. They give military and other govt and state employees about half of their glasses plus a good discount on boots, gloves, and goggles. Of course most of it is their plain stuff that you can wear in uniform but you cant beat the price.

If youre a state of fed employee, active or retired military I'd definitely say its worth the time to check it out.

I've been looking to by some Oakleys for golf. I was wearing my buddies Oakleys for one round and actually see the ball better. I live in Arizona so I need them year round anyways.

Not an Oakley guy. Always thought they were overpriced.

I had a pair of cliche Ray-Ban Wayfarers that I left in a cab one night, they were good glasses though. Found some cheap knockoffs and have been rocking those, but I think in general sun glasses are over priced.

Just grab some cheap knockoffs. You're just going to end up losing or destroying them anyway. Personally I like Ray Bans, Tom Ford and Oliver Peoples but I can't bring myself to spend at most $100 bucks on a single pair.

Same as mine, but I have to replace them soon. I dropped them and cracked the right lens near the screw.

Search around the internet. You can find these for $80 from discount sites.
