Not sure if it's true but I just read Jerry not has spoken with OBJ but also his mother. If this is true, it's likely a done deal......just a matter of when. Think about, there's a good chance Jerry already knows what kind of money OBJ is looking for from their previous negotiations and yet, he is STILL interested in signing him. That tells me the money isn't going to be an issue.

Given that he's already given notice that he'd be willing to take less than what his record calls for, that should be enough to consider him. He's younger, healthier and a better WR at this point in time. There's also a chance Odell isn't as healthy as he should be. Time will tell, more than likely. As far as age, there's just 5 months difference between them. Hopkins has the best hands in the league, if that's not enough.
