I'm sure the Cowboys are preparing as if OBJ will be playing. If he can't go great if he is then Dallas will be ready as you can be on a quality player like OBJ. Main key is getting Eli flustered

We will need all the help we can get in the secondary early on this season. I think they will round into form as the season progresses, but the growing pains could be substantial.

Wow.. how the narrative changes. First, You know Giant fans were grinning and rubbing their hands together like an evil villain when the Zeke suspension came down from Mara.. sorry, I mean Goodell. Now, it seems.. OBJ will be limited or may not play at all AND Zeke hopefully will be running into the end zone. (Ok, now I'm doing the evil grin)

Those are the type of injuries that can linger through the season. Cowboys DL Crawford is in the same boat. Need to weigh a lot of things: little more rest, playing less than 100%, and possibility of re-aggrevating the injury,

No, not in the same boat at all.

Don't think Crawfords lower ankle/foot sprain is a lingering type of injury. Plus it can be taped up.

People that discount the possibility that he might not play for fear of getting their hopes up are always entertaining.

The sprain is severe enough that it has kept him out of practice going on three weeks. Normal ankle sprains are day to days so it could well be a high ankle sprain ie 4 to 6 weeks.

Am I certain that is the case? No but this news does not bode well to him playing well on Sunday.

That's a realistic possibility. But it is equally plausible that he is so important to their offense that they are holding him out as a precaution for a normal ankle spraid so he will be ready to go opening night. I think either scenario is plausible.

It's only Monday, not a normal game week practice day. If he's not practicing Wednesday, that's a different story.

he is already looking at media looking to see "who doubts him".....clown
