I believe we're more than likely to rock along with the WRs currently on the roster. Even if OBJ regains his health, there's room for doubt that our FO would be agreeable to the terms that OBJ might command. Aside from all that, he's been known to be a distraction with other teams, in the past.

Both Dez and OBJ are somewhat doubtful, as true candidates to become Cowboys WRs, imho. Even if OBJ fully recovers from his injury, other teams would seem quite likely to outbid us. Jerry and Stephen Jones are far from remotely being considered big spenders, these days.

OBJ or Dez?

Odell Beckham Jr is 30 years old. Dez Bryant is 34 years old.

OBJ is coming off a torn ACL.

Dez has looked healthy, been working out and trying out to be given another chance the past 2 years. We've all seen his summer workouts recently.

If the Cowboys are not happy with the production from their backup WRs halfway through this 2022 season, and they feel they need to talk to OBJ, why not talk to Dez as well?

If those are the only choices it would be OBJ, but I really don't see either as a particularly attractive option.

In the last 4 1/2 years Dez has been active for a total of 6 games, and has 6 receptions for 47 yards, all of which was in 2020.

OBJ at least has played more recently, but he hasn't had a notable season since 2019, and who knows how much time it would take to get fully confident in his knee and fully up to speed with the offense?

Both obviously have proven to be volatile at times, and Dez has been openly critical of Dak, and there was some suggestion that he at least partially blamed Dak for his release in 2017. Don't know if bridges were completely burned, but they may be damaged.

People really need to come to grips with the reality that Dez is done. He's never playing again. As you said he's been working out and yet no team will sniff him.

Dez killed his own career because he never got the Sake and Bake part in his routes correct. Dez was a 50/50 beast, if the ball was up for grabs he was coming down with it, but if he had to get separation from a CB or S his tool bag was a little lite in that dept.

Neither!

Garbage and more garbage. Last time I checked we were 6-2 and scored 49 points last game.

When the heck will people stop talking about Dez. We kept him a year too long IMIO and that was like 5 years ago. Stop it already. Must as well bring up TO while you are at it
