This isn't the 90's anymore, when star players wanted to play for the Cowboys, this days teams bid for players that can make a difference in a Superbowl run, having said that I dońt like it either, but if they were doing nothing we would be complainning about how X player went to X team and we didn't do nothing, bla bla... fans are never happy

Yeah but not those two, who came in for visits, got offers from the Cowboys and went for higher bidders.
Sometimes you have to sweet talk them into signing with you, specially if they have other offers like Beckham does.

Why not? Won’t cost draft picks and has a chance to make the team even more dangerous in this year’s playoffs. OBJ as your third receiver will change coverages, if nothing else.
