They mentioned during the game that OBJ attempted to avoid seeing the doctors. I think he thought there was a chance he might not pass the concussion protocol. But he did and they sent him back out there.

Of course he was concussed. He also went silent in the game for about 2 quarters after the hit.

I read on the Cowboys website that Wilcox hit him so hard that he broke his own nose but told the trainers not to mess with it and he was going back into the game.
