Objectivity, anyone?

This offense is broken.

From the coaches, to the QB, to the o-line, to the TE's, to the WR's. It's all broken.

You need a total overhaul. And you can't change it during the season.

This is what we have for the reminder of the season.

Wonder how we go from running the read option last week about 9 times to running it maybe once today? Wonder why we have no TE who is a a receiving threat? Wonder why we don't do more rub routes for the wide receivers? Most of all I wonder why Dak mechanics appear to be far worse now then his rookie year? Guess I wonder a lot these days.

He's accuracy is terrible. But why are we running plays that require timing passes? Aikman has already retired. Every pass we took was like a 10 step drop, slow developing and ran right into coverage. Dak's strength is RPO and out of the pocket. It seems we went back to playing offense like the 90s. Oh wait, we are playing offense like the 90s.

I knew our offense would struggle, but was disappointed by our defense. Our defense didn't control the LOS against a very poor OL and had a couple critical breakdowns and mistakes.

but you can grab some attention but Firing Scot linehan..just serve as notice that the status quo wont work..let JG call plays or heck lets see KM do it.. if by game 10 its still garbage time to aplit the last 6 games with White and rush to see what we have..

We went away, yet again from things he does well. We went away again, too early from running the ball. We do what this coaching staff has done much too often, get away from what our players do well or have success with. It's frustrating watching this coaching staff.

Theoretically yes, you can do those things.

But they won't do it.

So this is what we have.

Frankly, we should have ran the ball more. Your right on that. I was also surprised why we only ran the jet sweep once. Never pull our guards to the right after that big run from Zeke. Never tried RPO or get Dak out of the pocket.

Coaching lost us this game.

I’m all for losses if it means a new HC and a new QB. Dak and this coaching staff will never succeed here. Dak is RG3. Dude can’t hit the broad side of a barn. We’ve seen it in games, we’ve seen it in practices, we’ve seen it in offseason skills competitions. His accuracy is and always will be a problem.

The offense has been abysmal for some time now, so I won't pretend some magic pill or pep talk will resolve their issues anytime soon. This is what we've hitched out wagons to and I accept that.

This place is rapidly becoming a cesspool of negativity and anger. I have seen it bad before but right now it seems to be at an all time high in terms of knee jerk reactions.

Let's start off with Dak. He is a young QB. He isn't playing well, but his line is playing pretty putridly right now. When we forced Romo into retirement it was a mistake. We traded Romo for the shiny more toy and the luster is now worn off the toy. It was a serious mistake but that card has been played so you move on.

Dak had a couple of INTs today and neither were his fault. The turnovers (3) cost us this game as much as anything else. Say whatever you want, it's true.

The receivers are doing fine. That won't be a popular opinion, but it's true. The problem is the OL isn't giving Dak enough time and Dak isn't seeing the field well, so it's a double whammy there.

The defense still played well, but where were all the sacks today? LVE seems to be really coming on. I'll give the defense a pass today but they were not as solid as before.

Seattle was a VERY desperate team and I knew it would be a tough out, especially in Seattle. Seattle is loud and it's a very tough place to play. Having said that we should have won today.

Coaching: Man you guys just ride the hell out of these coaches. Let's be real here--how are the coaches supposed to prevent the INTs and the fumble today.

Randy Gregory. Stupid people generally do stupid things. He is an absolute tool bag. I would try to trade him for something if the opportunity arises and move on from him.

It's a long season. We need to get to 2 and 2 next week and see what happens.

Side note, the Giants looked like a better team today. That win was bigger than it even looked last week. Think the fact that the Giants were 0 and 2 had anything to do with that tenacity?

I'm as frustrated as anyone here. We aren't playing well, at all, but we are not that far off. We need to consider helping out this OL in some way. It's the engine of this offense and right now, its sputtering.
Dude weren't you the leader of the cut Dez parade of fools.
I remember you. Addition by subtraction you yelled. Dak could be so much better if mean old Dez wasnt forcing him to throw him the ball so much.

You sounded like a damn fool then and you sound like a bigger one now.

The only objective conclusion at this point is that we have a large offensive problem and it is the result of poor coaching and poor QB play and poor OL play and poor WR play.
Don't forget the poor TE play. That's it, it's not just one piece it's all the pieces. We can adjust or make a change if one player is making a mistake, but we can't overcome when everybody takes turns in making mistakes.

Mediocre FO, mediocre roster, mediocre coaches = mediocre results.

A record of 3 wildcard playoff wins and no advancement beyond the NFC semis since the playoffs following the 1995 season DOESN’T lie.

Currently: 1-3, with an inconsistent defense, a mess of an offense and a staff of deer-in-headlights coaches who are game-planning and play-calling not to lose.

There’s all the objectivity you need to know.

Do you ever get the feeling we do no half-time adjustments? I get the feeling the coaches all go in, listen to some tunes, take a dump, play some sort of board or video game on the I-phone and then walk back onto the field and tell the players to do whatever they were doing the first half.

Coaching was definitely a big issue, but it's all the little things that add up too. People want to blame Dak, but he makes a good throw and Gallup coughs it up, or the OL collapses and he has no shot at any kind of play, or Zeke steps out of bounds for what should have been an easy TD, Dak makes a bad throw and we run with Zeke who gets a big run then fumbles the ball. We can't overcome all that adversity when it's coming from multiple angles.
