Objectivity, anyone?

this is a mediocre team with an awful head coach and an even worse GM. Nothing will change until Jerry is gone. Lather, rinse, repeat.

They're telling him to suck ?
We have a very conservative HC and OC in his ear to take care of the ball, don't make risky throws paired with a very risk adverse QB. It's probably not a good combination. I'm not letting Dak off the hook, but he's probably also doing what he's being told. It worked with Romo because Romo was a gunslinger at heart and was going to ignore them when he felt like and just change the play.

This place is rapidly becoming a cesspool of negativity and anger. I have seen it bad before but right now it seems to be at an all time high in terms of knee jerk reactions.

Let's start off with Dak. He is a young QB. He isn't playing well, but his line is playing pretty putridly right now. When we forced Romo into retirement it was a mistake. We traded Romo for the shiny more toy and the luster is now worn off the toy. It was a serious mistake but that card has been played so you move on.

Dak had a couple of INTs today and neither were his fault. The turnovers (3) cost us this game as much as anything else. Say whatever you want, it's true.

The receivers are doing fine. That won't be a popular opinion, but it's true. The problem is the OL isn't giving Dak enough time and Dak isn't seeing the field well, so it's a double whammy there.

The defense still played well, but where were all the sacks today? LVE seems to be really coming on. I'll give the defense a pass today but they were not as solid as before.

Seattle was a VERY desperate team and I knew it would be a tough out, especially in Seattle. Seattle is loud and it's a very tough place to play. Having said that we should have won today.

Coaching: Man you guys just ride the hell out of these coaches. Let's be real here--how are the coaches supposed to prevent the INTs and the fumble today.

Randy Gregory. Stupid people generally do stupid things. He is an absolute tool bag. I would try to trade him for something if the opportunity arises and move on from him.

It's a long season. We need to get to 2 and 2 next week and see what happens.

Side note, the Giants looked like a better team today. That win was bigger than it even looked last week. Think the fact that the Giants were 0 and 2 had anything to do with that tenacity?

I'm as frustrated as anyone here. We aren't playing well, at all, but we are not that far off. We need to consider helping out this OL in some way. It's the engine of this offense and right now, its sputtering.

This is a very fair assessment. I would add that this was Seattle's home opener - they had won 9 straight home openers before today for a reason. Really, nobody should've been surprised. This team is not good enough right now to go on the road to a place like Seattle and win UNLESS they play mistake free.

Another thing to consider is that this is today's NFL outside of a couple of truly dominant teams (and really, maybe only 1 - the Rams). Can anyone explain the total egg the Vikings laid at home against a pitiful Buffalo team? And not on the same level, but the Jags at home against the Titans?

Dak sucks dude. Seattle’s corners are average at best and he never once tested them down field.

I don't lack the complete failure to test the defense either for what it's worth, but he really didn't have much time.

"Having said that we should have won today."

You should "really" think about that particular sentence you wrote. Dallas brought a funky offense to Seattle and did next to nothing in the first half...ending up down 17 - 3. 50 total passing yards in thirty minutes of football is atrocious bordering on malodorous. They brought a knife to a gunfight and lost accordingly. Like I said before...at some point the excuses are going to have to stop.

The Cowboys turned the ball over 3 times today and were in the game until the end, in spite of the defense getting zero pressure on wilson today. The three turnovers doomed the team more than any other thing, including the inept OL.

This is a brand new offense. The two big playmakers are gone, and it is going to take them time to figure it out.

Vander Esch looked pretty good for the amount he has played

Yes, LVE is starting to come on and it's at a good time. We need him.

I just watched the Bills objectively hang 30 on the Vikings with their young QB.

I’m with won the Randy Gregory statement but LVE may very well be the best tackler on the defense. We can debate the 1st round pick value but I think he is going to be a player

Agreed.

This team is a joke buddy. All your positive spins and fairly tale blindness cant change that.

Its what we have all said for years. Jerry simply isn't a good enough GM to get a complete team together. Now that the defense is finally showing signs of good progress, the offense is falling apart again.

Taking Zeke was just plain stupid. That draft pick is now a glaring error by management. And no doubt they are going to pay him 18 million a year in a couple years to compound the problem.

Thank goodness we took Zeke.

Yes we are that far off.

You are in denial. You could tell Aikman’s disgust in his voice this game. He’s embarrassed as a former Cowboy.

Aikman isnt really a Cowboys fan. He goes out of his way to appear objective and that's putting it kindly.

Yeah. We could watch his cartoonish meltdowns on the sidelines for comedy relief. The dude still doesn't have a job. Why do you think that's the case?

Hey at least his sideline comedy and drama will be better than what they trolled out there on the field today.

And I am just joking of course, trying to make myself laugh over this debacle so far.

Fair enough bro. We are all licking our wounds over this one.
