Observation on McFadden & Jones

I won't profess to say that I have seen either that much live. So I went to youtube to check them out. One thing that strikes me is that both are very quick, fast. I will also say that most of the clips that I saw, these guys had massive holes to run through. I didn't see a lot of tough runs by any means. Those kind of holes won't be there in the NFL. So that would kind of scare me because they both remind me of Julius Jones in some ways. So are these the guys we really want?

I dont think we need either one... we should draft CB,WR in 1st rd and then RB in 2nd

That's the way I feel as well. CB is a MUST in the 1st; but with this draft so deep a RB and us already having a really good RB to begin with we should wait until the second to draft one. With our first three picks we should go CB, WR, RB IMO.

To be fair, the same can be said for almost any RB.

Youtube isn't really a scouting tool you know.

I don't see the massive holes people like to talk about. When I've watched them it's usually they have a crease and that they are so amazingly fast that it looks like a huge hole because they are burning by the defender.

Beyond that you simply can't look at highlight videos on youtube and equate that to what kind of back they are cause they're only going to show the big break away runs that shows their speed.

The scouting combine begins in a few days. Watch the RB's go thru the routine and you will have a much better understanding of who is available and what the are capable of.
