Hey all -
Just a few things i noticed in the game yesterday, would like everyone's thoughts:
How about Akin Ayodele?? I think he is definitely earning his money now, i am really liking this guy.
Ok, we need SOMEONE to take advantage of Ware being doubled on every play. He was still the one getting the most pressure. Somebody needs to step up!!
Sam Hurd--This guy doesn't make many plays, but when he does they are huge. Way to go on that fumble recovery.
Miles Austin--I think with more experience he could be a very good returner. And he's never done it before this year, so that's impressive.
Keith Davis--UGH!! He is really good on special teams, but as a FS, makes me wanna shoot myself.
Speaking of FS, didn't Parcells say that Watkins was gonna play quite a bit in this game?? I hardly ever saw him on the field. Did i just not notice him b/c they didn't throw deep hardly at all, or was he not out there much?
TO--people are talking about him not earning his money, and his drops, blah blah blah. Well he may not have the mind-boggling numbers we think of with him, but he was an important piece of the puzzle yesterday. He made key 3rd down grabs in the 4th quarter, and he pulled the safety which opened that window for Romo to complete the 42 yarder to Witten. We may get upset with drops, but he is a key to this offense.
Tony Romo--What can you say?? He's the man.
Barber/Jones--I love Julius first off, but i am beginning to come around to the idea of Barber starting, and bringing in Julius to take advantage of a battered and tired defense.
