What about Mike Mularkey for OC and playcaller if he is fired by Jacksonville. He seems to be a great OC just not a great HC.

I could live with it, but I don't know if he has any history with RHG or that his offensive philosophy would mesh with him.

I'm not so sure history with Garrett is a big criteria at this point. jerry might just be shoving coordinators on Garrett liked he shoved Garrett on Wade.

Rats, with all the HC openings we can all but write off lovie smith, and a few other good ones too.

I've thought we've been Raiders East for several years now. That is certainly one way to enhance a disfunctional team... I guess that's Jerry's way of getting a number 1 pick in 2014.

Just Say No To Retreads

By retread, I mean a coach that has either been a coordinator or HC more than twice already.

What is Callahan doing on the staff? The more time passes, the less likely it is they are going to strip Garrett of OC responsibilities. They'll probably placate the masses by saying Callahan will have more of a role and call that a job well done.

I'd really like to get Marty Mornhinweg.

I literally said this yesterday to my dad he looked at me like I was crazy.

That's a very QB friendly offense.

I would rather have Mularkey than Norv

I don't know it's pretty close. You might be on to something though. I wouldn't be upset either way.

Garret has ranked in the top 10 in points twice in his last 6 seasons.

In Mularkeys last 6 seasons, he has accomplished this once.

As o-coordinator? No. Not sure where you are getting your numbers from.

From 01-03 with Pittsburgh, he had 2 top 10 offenses and from 08-11 with Atlanta he had 3 top 10 offenses in points.

I limited this to his last 6 season, to coincide with Garrett, so the Pit numbers were not factored.

I only see two top 10 seasons in Atlanta?

If not Mularkey, how about Greg Olsen.Forget his work at the Jags with Gabbert, check his resume before that as OC for Tampa,Rams and Detroit. He was also Drew Brees qb coach in College.
