Koetter?
McCarthy?
Kubiac?
Some college guru?

I'd like to go the college route for the moment. I mean the league is dry when it comes to OC's that have already been around the block.

New faces and new ideas could be a breath of fresh air.

If it’s a young guy wanting his shot I could see that. Problems are:

1) a lot of college staffs are finalized by now
2) you’re not going to get a college guru that has no connection to the HC as the lead coordinator.

Find someone with Saban connections. It could be a QB coach that was there. You can hire someone without connections as a position coach because they’re easy to fire ala Alexander.

Not so much the guy who’s in charge of designing the offense. That takes trust.

McCarthy is sitting out a year and won't take a step back.
Koetter has a job already.
Kubiac is probably never coaching again due to his health issues.

Stop with the damn retreads.

Sounds like you guys are just so dejected you are ready to sign up for another year of Linehan.

If you're an OC with a dynamic passing scheme, do you want to come here?

Some around here think JG is a good HC and Jerry does to...just JG the playcalling duties since he's a good coach.

With Linehan not getting canned today, that tells me he will be back for next season. It will be a terrible decision and I expect the same results next year :(

Garrett would have to clearly communicate to them that they would have freedom to implement their system and leave Garrett's antiquitated trash behind. Don't know if he's willing to do that. Unfortunately it will probably be another Linehan situation where the OC is still mostly locked into Garrett's offense

Mike Norvell (hc of Memphis) is one of the better offensive minds in the game imo

Won’t matter who the OC is if it’s Redball’s stale arse playbook
