Occam’s Razor

We aren’t the Cleveland Browns where everything has been a disaster. We’re an average team. So some things are okay, others not as good like a lot of other things. The one thing that is clear is dak.
What team have you been watching this season? Almost everything on offense HAS been a disaster.

La'el is playing out of position, you know just like Byron Jones was, but that's our coaching staff for ya.
He is not playing out of position. He has always been a tackle. He was wildly inconsistent when he was playing guard. About 1out of 50 plays he would get a pancake block when playing OG. Everybody forgets about the other 49 plays which was below average for various reasons. Leary took the OG position and it wasn’t a close contest.

If one is applying Occam’s razor the conclusion should be the head coach first.
Um, no. One thing is clear. Dak is playing bad. Everything else about coaches and play calling and whatever else is just speculation since fans don’t really have a clue. People reaching to blame someone else when the simplest solution is that it’s him.

So lots of fans still wanting to blame every other part of the team when the simplest solution (Dak is awful) is the right answer.

Dak hasn't played well. But that's just part of the picture. The OL has been putrid. I don't know what's up with that.

We used to have a "putrid" OL here in Dallas and the QB still managed a 4k yard season and 30+TDs. Brady is looking at this OL with envy.

Its the QB. I get that he was sacked but there is no excuse for 148 yards passing in an NFL game. The OL isn't that bad and Seattle's defense isn't that good.

I'm willing to bet our next QB gets overly defended like Romo. When the next QB comes in, he will come into the perfect situation, and should be able to easily win. If not, he's the reason.

Tyron Smith is washed up, Williams is not ready, Fredbeard is MIA and Collins is regressing.

Football being a team sport doesn’t lend itself to one answer very often
Well, when the QB has 68 yards passing late in the game, that's going to affect a lot of things on offense wouldn't you say? The ONE thing we're sure of is that Dak stinks right now. It's not complicated yet many people want to make it that way.

The simplest solution to a problem tends to be the right one. We have a problem. The simplest solution is Dak. He’s been awful.

Anything else is just forcing the solution to fit your narrative.

Football generally doesn't work this way. When a team fails, it usually happens for multiple reason. A better player at one position can make up some for that, but not completely.

This team on offense has failed because of Dak at times, because of the offense at times and because of the receiving corps at times (including Elliott). It all ups up to a miserable offensive performance where with one of those aspects hitting on all cylinders, it might only be a mediocre offense performance.
