this is a challenge to all cowboys fans, please if your in the area get some tix for you and your fellow cowboys fans. they will be easy to obtain considering their misfortunes. i know the economy is bad, so there are restrains. i just remember so many of the cowboys players saying how the pro-Dallas crowd helped them in san fran, i thought it would be cool to repeat it in DC. i want to hear that place sound like this...

That was one of the greatest regular season games in NFL history IMO.

It was the last hoo-rah for the core of the 90's teams.

That might be my favorite regular season game of all time.

it is without question my favorite. the only one that comes close is the buffalo game a couple of years ago.

IMHO, had Irvin and Sanders been heathy all year we would have made a serious run at one last SB title. We started 3-0 with blowout wins over the defending NFC champs Atlanta and Arizona. Irvin + Rocket was deadly over the first three games until Michael had his career ended in Philly.

Great post! I was thinking the same thing today about how Cowboy fans are starting to think we have turned the corner and I bet it's a huge turnout at Fed Ex on Sunday.

I wish we were wearing the blues, but we're not.

convince some of your fellow cowboys brethren to get tix too.

i literally want us to punish them on the field and in the stands too.

Also believe we lost Moose in that game. He previously had neck problems & reinjuried in this game; ne never played again.

ROTFLMAO...

What makes you think any of us cares about what you want??

I fully agree. We seemed to have that swagger back. Although the defense was lacking. The Irvin/Rocket could have been deadly. We lost Irvin and a lot of mojo when he went down. Freaking Eagles.

Moose and Woodson also got hurt that year IIRC.

The offense flat out owned before Irvin went down though. Averaged something like 35 PPG.

All these old videos reminds me of how much greatness I missed. ****** why couldn't I have been born 10 years earlier? :bang2:

You could look at it another way...

I became a big fan in '91 at the age of six, and we made the playoffs for the first five seasons I was a fan and won three Superbowls. I got spoiled and now with nothing since, it stings even more.

I want to say LaFluer also got injured that year (he wasn't great, but was the starter). Yeah, just a team that didn't have much depth. Starters were great though when healthy.

I was thinking Rocket was going to finally be that lethal threat opposite Irvin.

Being so young, this was the first year that I really remember paying attention to everything and knowing what was going on.
