OchoCinco insinuates Cowboys catered to Dak's ego by cutting Joe Milton

Sounds good Ocho, if that were true, a team would have claimed him off waivers.

It sounds like something Dak would push for.... but in this place I think the player is just too horrible to say there's any other reason for his cutting than him simply not being an NFL caliber player.

I don't think he'd even cut it in the CFL

Dak has had to compete for the QB1 position at every stop. And the way he seems, he probably appreciates getting pushed to be better.

This take of Dak even having a thought in his mind that to cheat Milton out of his NFL dream is ludicrous. That’s not Dak.

Nobody is replacing Dak. He’s one of the few consistent players. Our offense is consistently top 10, and the only real consistencies are Dak, CeeDee and Tyler Smith.

Dak has his job handed to him on a silver platter every year, His job isn't threatened by anyone.

I think Ocho Seis is the more appropriate number (name) for this idiot.

My cousin played corner in the ACC for four years and then in the NFL for five years, said Ochocinco was the best he ever matched up against.

Have a lot of respect for 85 as a player, but unless he comes out and says he has sources in the Dallas locker room there’s no reason to take him seriously here.

If Milton was so highly regarded why didn’t they trade him and recoup some assets?

Or are we supposed to believe Dak “felt threatened” by a QB who couldn’t even fetch a 7th round pick?

I find it amazing that people still take preseason so seriously.

I mean it is though isn’t it? Does Camden Brown make this team without preseason? Does Mingo?
Brown didn't take anyone's job. There was really no risk in keeping him. As far as Mingo goes, what has been keeping him on this team? I think they just wanted to keep 6.

What I've always noticed about preseason is that a bad showing can tank you. But you're probably not taking someone's job if you do well. For QBs, preseason doesn't translate over to regular season. Hell, Zach Wilson looked good in his rookie year preseason.

I don’t think he took someone’s job but I for sure think Brown created a 6th spot for himself for sure. They would’ve taken 5 receivers. I think Malik Davis won that second spot because of preseason. I don’t think it’s a huge number of guys that make the team because of it but I do think 3 or 4 players made this team or practice squad because of it.

soooo who did they cater to by bringing him back?
i'll wait for chad johnson to let us know....but i bet he's on to some new nonsense by now...and he won't circle back.

He's going to distance himself away from this story as much as he can and hope it's forgotten.
