Yeah, I've got more than a clue about football. I look at college players in the light of being potential prospects, not to have fanboy crushes on them. You should try that approach sometime.

Kenny Tate was being projected as a safety last season nitwit.

Tell me, did you have Kenny Tate as your avatar for a time last year?

So your saying Kenny Tate isn't being projected as a potential prospect but draft sites have him as a 3rd round draft pick. I wonder why NFL teams would draft a player that isn't a projected prospect and player in the NFL. Maybe because he is.

As for having him in my avatar, no that wasn't me, I haven't even had a avater of any kind.

I know he was being projected as a safety last year, that was the position he played in college and the position he was being being looked at in the NFL. He decided to go back to school this year where they moved him down to OLB where he is having a great year right now. He will go into the 2012 NFL draft as a SS and OLB prospect and teams will work him out for both spots to see which one he is the best fit for their scheme.

I think there was a player that was a safety that switched to LB and then drafted and switched to safety in the NFL and turned out pretty good. Goes by the name of Darren Woodson. Not saying he will be a Darren Woodson by any means, but I just want to know your deal with a Kenny Tate.

Also nice name calling there. Good way to show your maturity.

please read alittle about Kenny Tate
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1630320
A highly-regarded third-year defensive back … an athletic player with a dangerous combination of size and speed … atop the depth chart at free safety … has demonstrated versatility and toughness … expected to vie for All-ACC honors in the fall … a preseason All-ACC selection … a third team all-league choice by Phil Steele's Preview … has returned punts and kickoffs in his career … moved from wide receiver to defensive back as a freshman.

Lol, what are you rambling about? When did I ever say Kenny Tate wasn't a potential prospect?

Answer that question?

Are you so desperate to make a point you're making up an issue to try to dispute?

Lol, all known info...

I like that if Scandrick can be a starter.

I would much rather see us get an extra 2nd rounder and pull out
Konz
Minnifiel/Gilmore
Zeitler
all in the first 2 rounds.

• Don't sell Judie short. He can play.
• I like Claiborne more than Gilmore.
• Campbell would be a great addition, but he's gonna get huge money.
• Don't sleep on Lissemore. He's a 300 lb. sprinter who's playing better and better each week.

you said "I look at college players in the light of being potential prospects, not to have fanboy crushes on them."

So that means to me that you don't think he is a potential prospect.
And also I never made up any issue, your the one that brough Kenny Tate into this, not me. You brought up me liking Kenny Tate in last years draft for a reason unknown of trying to prove some point that you weren't able to.

Lets just let this rest. I liked kenny Tate last years draft as a SS in the 3rd or 4th round. What that has to do with the price of eggs in china, I don't know but you brought it up.

All I'm was saying is I want Calais Campbell in free agency. He is the only FA from another team that I want. Now rather it happens I don't know but I will make the case for Campbell until he is signed by another team.

I will sleep on Lessimore, he is what he is. If he was something special he would have done something now besides run a kickoff back about 35 yards. 3-4 DE aren't suppose to do that. When he is on the line he does nothing.

Campbell might want huge money but it wouldn't be the first time Dallas paid a player big money. He would be worth every penny.

I agree on Claiborne but we won't have a shot at Claiborne.

I'm not selling Judie short, when did I ever say that, its just that I like Gilmore and Minnifield more.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Lissemore is a big guy who can really move. He's been playing well against the run and pushing the pocket, and he's been doing both better and better each week.

Campbell might want huge money but it wouldn't be the first time Dallas paid a player big money. He would be worth every penny.

I don't necessarily disagree with either statement. I do disagree with the philosophy of signing big money free agents instead of developing home grown talent. And sometimes that takes more than one year.

I agree on Claiborne but we won't have a shot at Claiborne.

Oh, I don't know about that, but even if I grant you the point, I think there's a much higher chance of Claiborne being there when we pick in the first than Konz, DeCastro, Minnifield or Gilmore falling to us in the second, and...

I like Minnifield and Gilmore more too, but I think Konz is a better player at a position of greater need than Minnifield or Gilmore is at corner. I'd much rather have Konz and Judie on my team than Gilmore and Ben Jones.

This is exactly the context of what I was saying when I said I don't get fanboy crushes on players and instead look at them all as potential pro prospects.

You have the demonstrated tendancy to get fanboy crushes on players and in your want to have them on the Cowboys, you incessantly and irrationally denigrate other players to trump up your current crush.

For example, you effectively said Felix Jones will never be a fulltime back, Choice sucks and Murray has done nothing... Why? Because you want Trent Richardson on the squad.

Now you're saying Lissemore has done nothing on the defensive line when he's in the games. That ignorant statement highlights the fact you're not seeing things objectively. Lissemore has played very well this season (particularily against the run) and it's evident by the fact he's getting consistent playing time. But because you want Calais Campbell on the squad, Lissemore has now needs to suck.

And so far I have been correct. I want to upgrade this team and not let these guys that do nothing waste a roster spot. I like Murrey and I am ready to see what he can do. Jones has shown this year he can't be a full time RB due to all the injuries. Choice, well I have been saying that for years and shows that I have been right for years.
When I see Lessimore play, I see nothing special. He doesn't show anything. He doesn't have it. I have said and have been about 90% correct about backup players on this team rather they will make it or not.
Lessimore will not ever be a good starting player. Costa, Choice, Hurd, Bennett, and Ball are all players I have said this about. Felix is a good change of pace back but can't handle the load. Having Nagy and Costa on this OL doesn't help but to be a every down back you have to be able to hold up to injuries. But I do like Nagy and Arkin for the future, I liked Miles Austin in the past when he was a back up because he had that it factor, he showed potential besides being like Brent and Lessimore and the others I have mentioned and when they are on the field you don't even notice them.
Lessimore hasn't shown anything when he has been given the chance.

Its not just now that I said Lessimore sucks, I have been saying that for a while. Yes I want a proven starter that is still very young over a career backup in Lessimore.

So you wouldn't take Campbell over Lessimore. Your that naive on our bench players. Your the type that always like the backups and is the first to say the starter sucks, start the backup when the starter has one bad game.

So man but I would take Campbell over Lessimore, you can Lessimore riding the bench for the next two years before he is released.

I agree that Minnfield or Gilmore will be a 1st round pick and Konz will be too. I doubt Minnfield and Gilmore both will be 1st round pick. I'm sure one will be a 2nd. I would take Konz over both of them.

I disagree on Minnifield or Gilmore being taken before Claiborne but I would take either of the 3. Can't go wrong with any of those three.

Lessimore has been playing ok vs the run, not like he has been raking up tackles. He is a good special teams player and doesn't get a good pass rush. Campbell is a much better player. Lessimore is big and quick but he wouldn't be the first NFL payer that is big and fast that doesn't make it.

I agree on building through the draft but every team signs FAs and every once in awhile you sign big money FA. I have no problem developing talent but how long do you hold on to a player.

I have no problem signing a big money FA if they are young and great and can make a difference. If you have a chance to upgrade a position then you do it. I believe Campbell can make a difference on this defense for the good.

Hatcher showed signs of being a good player and I said last offseason I wanted Dallas to re-sign him, I just haven't seen anything special with Lessimore. I feel the same way with Brent. Both are good back ups but just haven't seen anything that shows they can be good starters.

You're a bonified idiot, lol.

I'm hip to your tactic now. Whenever backed into a corner you just make up crap and throw it against the wall. Your accusations are no less ridiculous than if I took what you read and said "oh, so you want to trade Ratliff and Sean Lee so we can afford Calais Campbell?" Completely out of left field crap...

Lol, the irony for calling me childish for name calling, yet you're entire line of thinking is childishly inane.

nice name calling, isn't this guy breaking several rules, how old are you 12. You sure act like it.

Why would we have to trade Ratliff a player we just signed long term and Sean Lee. Do you even know how a contract works. Dallas will have 5-6 million to pay Campbell next year and thats all you need per year. Lee's contract isn't up for two or three more years.
Dallas will have enough money to resign Spencer, Sensy and also sign Campbell next year and you call me the bonified idiot.

But lets just drop this ok, you like Lessimore and don't want Campbell and I do. You and I just don't agree on things, so how about we just don't comment on each others ever again because it always leads to you using name calling like a child. SO for now on I'm done with anything you put on this forum. It's pointless.

Lol, how freakin' dense are you???

I purposely made-up a clearly exagerated accusation (trading Ratliff and Lee) and even explained it to you.....to MATCH your nonsense and give you a taste of your own medicine.

You know, the crap you keep making up: "So you're saying Kenny Tate isn't a prospect...so you wouldn't take Lissemore over Campbell..."

What's hilarious is you're worried about my name calling, but not your total lack of reasoning ability and comprehension.

Unbelievable.
