I get why picking a primarily blocking TE at 26 is a questionable decision. I struggle with it too. BUT I don't think a lot of fans are really thinking about Washington flanking either of our Tackles. Edges would be secured.

To your point, yes if could pull off your trade down & net both I would be ecstatic.
Let’s not forget either . Washington was a WR first. He knows how to run routes. He just wasn’t asked too

Yeah, I was sticking with his draft analysis so folks wouldn't say I was projecting. If you end up getting a Tony Gonzalez, Gronk, Kelce, Kittle type receiver, mega bonus.

i think they will like guys like Avila and Schmitz more who can play both guard and Center.
The thing about these guys not where they are picking it would be a trade down in the first and a possible move up in the second the stars seem to not align with their two draft spots in the first two rounds and naturally they want be there in the third round. I'm meaning they would need to move from current positions.

The 6-foot-5, 336-pound Torrence is not known for his athleticism, turning in so-so testing numbers at the combine and reportedly running a 8.13-second three-cone drill, which would put him in the bottom 20th percentile for that workout. But following a strong season in the SEC and a quality performance at the Senior Bowl, Torrence figures to be a top-50 selection at worst.

Torrence, however, sold himself as one of the best players at his position in this draft class. As for why he should be the top lineman drafted, he told Pelissero: "Because I'm the most dominant interior offensive lineman in the draft, and I feel like any team that gets me will get a Day 1 starter and someone who is ready to play. Somebody who is going to take it like a pro and give it all you got."

We are going all Brutus Beefcake in this draft, bet the first three rounds of this draft translate on the scale as one of the heaviest per pound with first 3 picks in franchise history, being serious here, non-sarcastic..
Do we keep a stat for that?
Wouldn't mind at all going OL and TE with the first 2 picks

Movement is good, if you have the flexibility, dont need draft stock going down, but coming up you do, so agree with you about moving back, but not at the expense of getting jumped on a player being there that you covet and hope falls, because that is how we have been jumped before like Seattle did with that Pro-Bowl center, cant remember about the Eagles scenario when they bumped us on Goedert, but the point is dont get too cute just moving back to gain later draft stock if you miss on some keyed player that could have a bigger impact quicker.
