I don't even care... Kid is overrated.

Doesn't do jack crap yesterday until he see's off coverage against the Falcons #2 corner who lets him inside and basically score going untouched.

This guy is the new Desean JAckson and is a all or nothing player.

OVERRATED and not ELITE.

This is his stats basically as a rookie in *LESS* than a full season. (14 games)

Code:
GP REC TGTS YDS AVG LNG TD FD FUM LST
14 103 152 1,495 14.5 80 13 66 0 0

Only two WRs had more yards than he has now from last season and only one of those had more TDs, yet I believe they both played 16 games, not 14. (actually, he only played 12, and these stats are after getting stifled by the Dallas D last week. He wasn't stifled this week)

I've got to disagree with you. This kid is the real deal.

I read an article recently (can't remember where) that was talking about the top WR's in the game today and in this article they were breaking down the stats. One of the stats that caught my attention involved each receiver's number of targets. It revealed that although ODB only played in 12 games last season, he actually had more targets than Dez had in 16 games. I share this just to put "he only played in 12 games" in its proper light.

What light would that be? The fact that defenses knew to key on him because he was far and away their top offensive weapon, yet still couldn't shut him down? This brings a lot of credence to the fact that he isn't overrated.

The only point I was attempting to make was that many people were saying he got his stats in 12 games and I was just saying that his 12 games worth of targets are more than most receivers 16 games worth of targets. I didn't say ODB was a bad receiver...what I stated was just statistical fact, nothing more or less.

At this point he is over hyped and not overrated. IMO the book is out on him. Be physical with him and he can be stopped. Until he works through that issue and beating double teams he is not elite.

He is neither overhyped or overrated. He has lived up to every standard that could possibly be set.

He will menace us for years unfortunately Tall, fast, huge hands, great routes etc.....

At this point Eli and little Tommy Coughlin are holding him back.

He is definitely over hyped after just 1 season in the NFL. The NFL and the other networks spent all offseason hyping him up and have now over exposed him. They should have done just a little bit and let his talent do the talking.

One good season doesn't mean he's elite or the real deal. Let's see how he does this year now that we know teams are gonna start pressing and being more physical with him because he clearly doesn't like that kind of contact.

This.

Overhyped is right. When we played them on SNF all they could talk about was him, yet we have #88 who is 88 times better. Not one mention, until he got hurt!

He's not overrated. Now when ESPN/NFL drool over any catch he makes, it becomes tiring.

I thought I read somewhere that the gloves he uses plays a huge part in making the 1 handed catches.
