Jeff Heath made two ints on defense and yet makes a mistake penalty that costs us the game.

For the last few seasons we would catch ourselves asking when was the last time a kicker missed a FG against us... This season it has happened a number of times including today.

Somewhat related. How about the announcement crew never posting a graphic about how great our kicker is... I saw that and thought... Great he is going to miss now... Well he did

Anyone hear Lynch talk about our great kicker when we had the last drive and down by four... I think he caught himself right after but it made me do a discount double check on the score.

Byron Jones is having a good rookie year but I gotta believe it would be better if he could just hone in on one spot instead of having to switch around.

I might just be seeing things but I swear I seen Zack Martin move aka false start at least two times and it was never called. Strange.

Running game took a step back this week.

It is amazing that a defense holds a team to three points for the vast majority of the game only to give up a TD with under two minutes left.

The QB hits completions to 8 different players but we can only manage six points.

Somebody must have mentioned to Red that him clapping after bad plays is Pissing people off. I have noticed he is not clapping as much and hardly clapping when they show him after a bad play.

Wonder if being off for so long has caused Hardy to hit that "rookie" wall as it seems like he has lost a little step.

What everybody is thinking now... Romo comes back and wins some games which will feel nice but it will hurt our draft position

These are not strange thoughts...I think the sme things. I don't know what is more strange, the way the D seems dysfunctional at times or the up and down year of the OL.

Is the Hardy experiment over after the season? I do not think that is very strange to ask.

Another thought...DLaw had a sack today,,as did Crawford.....how odd?

What continues to be a strange thot is how these Garrett coached teams can find unbelievable ways to lose games. I doubt Marinelli's 0-16 Lions had as many unreal losses as Red has put together during this agonizing half a decade process.

I think the defense is a product of other teams know we can't move the ball effectively and the only way they really have a shot a losing the game is to make costly turnovers....thus they play vanilla safe football for 3 1/2 quarters stay close in score and then they open their offense to what they are actually capable of. As for the OL, Romo (and Murrary to a lesser extent last year) makes the OL look great...otherwise they are an above average unit that is capable of being great given more time to mature and gel together (assuming of course their is at least an average QB and above average RB behind them).

Makes you wonder if they have secret meetings to work on secret plays like TO said Romo and Witten were doing.

That's definitely what I'm thinking. And plenty use of the words "but", "if", and "only" for the next 6-8 months.

I got a strange thought

If you're gonna call defensive holding in that situation you have got to at least call illegal contact on the final pass to Dez.

I didn't get to watch the game. I'm disappointed that the clapping is gone.

All the TV idiots seem to have forgotten the past few seasons in their defense of JG.

Ask a simple question: How many games has JG won vs lost? His play calling was taken away last year due to his inept game management skills.

I'm seriously amazed at why JG gets a free pass from JJ......

I thought once Winston becomes a runner you cannot call defensive holding anymore? Am I wrong? Refs were definitely giving some home cooking.

Because JJ has been training him.

Best case scenario, the Cowboys go on a miracle run and make the playoffs. Worst case scenario, Romo wins just enough games to ensure a mid range draft pick and convince Jerry the status quo is fine.

it was clearly defensive holding, it probably would have been PI if dez even attempts to go for the ball.
