Easy.

Jerry is on a contrarian bender against the fans. That is why he brought back Zimmer, brought back Zeke, refused to hire a GM, paid Dak the dumbest contract in history, and claimed he was all in while doing nothing in FA. He is intentionally making the moves the majority of the fans identify as stupid decisions. It's why he kept Garrett for a decade.

This is all one big "**** YOU" to us from Jerry because he knows we are right about him being an incompetent egomaniac GM, and an overall crap human being.

Making Zimmer the HC is the second biggest middle finger he can give the fans next other than naming himself as HC.

He actually lead his team to a conference championship title game, with Ryan Tannehill as his QB. He would run circles around the coach we had the last 18 years.

Petzing is an interesting name - though I think it's too early for him.

Johnson and Slowik are really the only two guys that any team should be targeting. An HC who isn't your offensive playcaller is a waste.

This is going to be comedy and a disaster. The Green Bay playoff loss was a nail in the coffin for this era of Cowboys football that Jerry and Stephen had been building for 10 years.

Only three games in and already contemplating HC changes? A bit premature but I can also see the frustration. The second half of the season is easier (probably) so I could see the Cowboys finishing with a winning record and Jerry deciding to extend MM. Until Jerry lets his head coaches run the show nothing will change.

I am a casual fan that hasnt ever worked in the coaching industry...

Im sure there are coaches with different approaches that can succeed with any team...

But Al Harris has said he is not an X and O's guy. I just figured that is a huge part of any Offense or Defense Coordinators job.

Maybe you can just be a hell of a motivator and get yourself an NFL Coordinator job...I dont know.

I get the 'job titles' thing in the NFL...and to keep guys around you have to give the higher and higher titles and pay so they dont leave to another team. In this case, to keep Harris around if he doesnt have X and O's pedigree to be a legit Coordinator, do they pay him and give him the title but he hires someone below him to call plays?

Clint Kubiak or Bobby Slowik seem like great fits but we can't rule out Bill B.I am starting to think MM AND Zimmer might now last the year right now. Giants are poised to upset us at Met-Life. They now have a budding star at WR. We better go in there and TCB and get out.

Gonna throw a name out there.... Josh Heupel. Whoever picks up the pieces here....I think will come from the college ranks. This franchise needs new blood....fresh ideas. No more NFL retreads.
