Is this a team that has a greater than 70 percent chance to win the SB? Will they destroy opponents in the playoffs? Thoughts? I know it's a Cowboys Board but I was curious.

They currently have the third best odds (tied with KC) in vegas to win the SB, if that tells you anything.

Their chances took a slight hit though losing their starting MLB and starting LT for the year last night.

The season is still young, whats the rush? They just lost Peters for the season. No one knows how things will shake out.

The Eagles may have started off good this season. But, it's still not the first season where they started off fast and was deemed as unstoppable, unbeatable and the NFC Champions/ Superbowl winners already. Until they can prove that they will end one of their many fast starts to a season with a Superbowl win, then I will always doubt that they can get it done when it counts the most. :igglestrophy:

You're joking, right? No team has a 25 percent chance, much less a 70 percent chance, of winning the Super Bowl after week 7.

Exactly. I posted this on another thread called "For all you Wentz haters, I told you so". They lost their first game to KC. Their next 3 opponents had a combined record of 3-8. Then comes Cam whose been sucking it up this year, and tosses 3 picks. Holy Moly here comes those 'skins again. Where on earth is Atlanta or Green Bay. My gosh, they have one of the most favorable schedules in the league.

I guess you missed that ANALYST broadcast. With that said, you're tooting your horn a bit too early. For starters, there's 2 months of football left. Last year those boo birds won 4 consecutive beating the undefeated Vikings to only end up losing 7 or their last 8 games. Had Dallas not sit their starters at the last game for the Egals, they would of lost their last 8 of 8 games. If an so called "analyst" says the Egals will win the SB this year, are you going to fall for that too? I'll remember your post, if I'm wrong, I'll come back and eat some crow. But if I'm not, I guarantee you, I'll hunt you down.

Philadelphia Eagles born 1933 and still counting....

th
Except for two games their schedule is the same as Dallas

Philadelphia is off to a good start that is important and being a top seed at the end of the year so they should be one of the top seeds at the end of the season they might fall apart they might not we have to wait and see but just like Dallas started all six and one last year that really helps get you into that top seed position but they have a ways to go

Injuries have already seriously damaged the Eagles chances. IF the Cowboys beat them twice, and the extra game is discounted, they have the same record. I mean if the clubs played now.

Losing your Pro bowl LT and Pro Bowl MLB is certainly more than a MINOR concern.
