i have no doubt we will at least be looking after cutdowns and into the season. One of the highlights of the last preseason game should have been Nate Newtons recap of our o-line. These guys are homers and will say anything positive. Nate couldnt

Very unlikely a starting caliber OT is waived
Right now we don't have a starting caliber LT either. Just a question of whether we can find someone better then what we currently have in house. As I recall if a player is on your roster day 1, you are stuck with his salary for an entire year. Maybe someone is waiving a veteran tackle with the idea of bringing him back after week one at a reduced salary. Stranger things have happened.

Im not saying it cant happen, Im just saying its unlikely. If you want a starter now, you are going to have to be more aggressive than waiting for cuts

+1 ........exactly
They may have a couple of significant moves on ice to first see how Tyler does as a starter. I'm 100% confident they are well aware of other available options via trade or free agents. Similar to issues that prompt Coop trade......remember that was after the season had started.

This is why their handling of this is so strange. They have admitted Tyler WAS NOT ready start, even at LG, but since Tyron is now injured, he can be our starting LT? It makes no sense at all........

Dare Rosenthal will likely be cut. The Falcons have a good situation at tackle, and they brought Rosenthal in as an UDFA. As far as I can tell, they are trying to stash him.

Whatever they do, it all comes down to how well they evaluate the situation and address it.

Might happen but the expectations need to be very low. There just not a lot of good tackles and they are very rarely available on waivers. I think we would have a better chance picking up a guard. Maybe that should be the focus. To either challenge as a starter or be depth. This line could really limit any potential upside of this roster.
