Top 4-5 guys are gone. No trade down offers

Bpa is OBJ and we take him. What will you think?

I would say it's extremely unlikely that there would be no trade down options if OBJ is still on the board. In fact, I think he might be 1 of the guys that could turn the #16 pick into a valuable trade chip. I think there would at least 3 teams making offers for OBJ's services.

As long as Dallas has an internal value chart that says they somehow got the better end that 1st round trade last year (not talking about actual players here) then I could never see us not having a willing trade partner in the middle of the 1st this year.

I really like Beckham though. But using pick 16 on WR seems like the ultimate luxury pick.
Under your highly unlikely scenario, however, I would take OBJ.

Yes. Beckam is going to be a really good player. I would consider Lee as well. Both guys fill in for Miles really well because they can naturally play outside and in the slot and do both really well.

since everyone seems to think there will always be trades available

trade on the table is similar to last years offer

drop to 30s for a third rounder

If Dallas is going to waste their 1st on a WR, then I hope they go with Evans. He has 6 inches and 35lbs on OBJ. Beckham is fast but his size concerns me a bit.

With that said, I don't want Evans either. Even with a trade down, it needs to be defense............

Both will be top WR's, I think the kid from LSU will be more productive his first year, he already has been running real routes in college not just get open and make the grab. I would still take Evans first as you cannot teach that height and the defenses still have to honour his vertical speed. What a great problem to have without a doubt BPA at 16.

I'd be fine with it, but I like Cook better. He seems like the next Steve Smith, plays bigger than he looks.
