Manning usually plays pretty well against us.

Kevin Boss is no Jeremy Shockey though, and it seems that Shockey is the safety valve against us, so I guess that's good.

If our offense can get back in midseason form, then I think we're set to win this game.

I'm worried about Romo for the first time in a long time.

Eli had a pretty good amount of time today to throw. Most QBs do well with that. And TB basically dared Eli to throw it on them, and he took most of the stuff they gave him. He didn't take too many chances downfield, but he made good decisions.

Burress is their main weapon on offense.

Hopefully we can get to Eli early and throw him off his game.

Eli's 3-4 in 7 starts against the Cowboys, but his numbers are pretty decent 131-224 (58.5&#37 1618 yards 13 td's and 8 int.
I wouldn't be too excited to face him. Jeff Garcia with his porous o-line would have been a better option imo.

Not me.

I would have much prefered Tampa because their offense is not as good as the Giants. This is the 3rd time this team will face them and anything can happen.

I know Wade says our defense is good at stopping the run, but when you watch the games it doesn't FEEL like we are stopping the run. It seems like the RB tandem the Giants have is playing well right now and it will give us problems. I'm glad we had a bye week to rest people up. Hopefully Newman, Watkins, and Henry (he's always a little banged up) will be ready to go next week, and hopefully someone will get Roy fired up.

Eli without Shockey will be the interesting part to me. The Gints three headed monster of Shockey/Burress/Jacobs will be reduced to being a dual threat. As usual we need to pressure Eli as much as possible.

But the one thing that does concern me is that this is the 3rd time we've played them this year. And we play each other twice a year. We are familiar with each other. If Tampa had won, I wouldn't be the least bit worried. We are not familiar with one another and I think our talent difference would be maximized since neither team is used to one another.

Since we know the Giants so well and vice versa, I wonder if that bridges the talent gap somewhat.

I was more concerned about the dink and dunk master in Garcia.

Garcia would be dangerous in the midrange and that is our Achilles knee.
