Yesterday hurts. A lot. Not going to rehash. But I'm wearing my cowboys shirt today and damn proud to do so. Thought I would break down the roster. For no reason I'm starting with TE. Note, I'm not a stat or cap guy, these are just my musings of where each position is and how much we need to invest in it, so here we go.

Witten- will return as the starter. Probably has two years left.
Escobar- Gone
Swaim and Hanna- back from injury, both are far superior blockers to Pablo and should only help an already great ground game.
Rico- the great unknown. Could be the heir apparent, could be out the league in two years.

Think we stand pat at the position this year. No room in the inn to add another player. If RICO flames out you will see a high draft pick here in 2018. The one caveat is Jake Butt. We all know Jerry loves injury gambles in the second round. Could see him being the pick and resdshirting like smith this year.

If Rico doesn't make it as a TE, they should look at him as a Tackle. He will fit in somewhere. Just too much athletic ability there.

Jason has 1 more year imo. Dak seems to like Swaim so I give the position a pass this off-season in favor of the defense.

Please Jaylon's nerve, come back!
