Off season looks great so far - to me!

During FA, we all seem to be like a bunch of kids in a candy store. . . "I want, I want , I want!"

In perspective, things are right on track. We got a RT/G in Kosier. We are in the hunt for a pretty good LB, the two top kickers are still out there and we are sure to be in the hunt, as long as the price is not too dear.

That addresses the biggest needs. Now the nice to haves. It is looking more and more as if the Boys are going to make a run at TO. I don't like the move, myself, but maybe Bill plans on having Bradie James beat the crap out of him first thing and get that, "I will fight anyone in the room" thing out of his system. Whatever, Bill has a plan so I will live with it.

All in all, we could not ask for anything better than what Steve and Jerruh are doing. Right on track!

Though I really hope we sign a kicker soon.

I'd rather not have to draft a rookie kicker and cross my fingers every time we line up for a FG.

My only disappointment so far is not getting Longwell...he's the one I wanted.

There's not a legit starting OT out there...some solid vets that can start for a year or two, but no way do we want to overpay for one. An OT by the second round is a must.

Hutchinson is another guy I wanted, but at 49 mil...NO WAY!

I don't think we're really that far behind. Sure, teams like the Foreskins want to make a big splash every season and overpay for the name brands. There are still good players out there in FA and we also have the draft.

If we sign Ayodele I will be very happy. We can address FS and OL in the draft. I still think K and possible TO are on the horizon as well.

The bottom line, at this point this team has lost more talent than gained. We are a 9-7 club and have lots of needs. When the roster shows more talent than last year, I will be happy, until then, I'l be a little tense.

We've signed a utility OL which we needed and are negotiating with LB. I expected more, sooner...but it's not over yet.
