I haven't given up on the season but these are all issues that'll still exist:

-cut miles, durant, mackenzie (as far as current starters)
-reduce ware and romos contracts for cap purposes
- sign hatcher to a friendly deal
- trading Claiborne for anything above a 4th would be cool
- new hc and oc
-promote marinelli to dc
-draft dl ol and dynamic rb

Because I am an environmentalist I believe we should revamp the cheerleaders uniforms and use less of the precious resources our world has for their covering.

I say move to the bikini and require no more than four square inches of material at any one spot.
The earth thanks you for your support.

Dude, why so harsh? As far as I can tell, he isnt breaking the terms of service here. No reason to insult people.

Mine starts and ends with an accomplished GM, no change there and you are just re arranging deck chairs.

Such as who? Can you key us in to who these "accomplished' GMs are? Since Jerry Jones was 8-8 these past two years and 5-5 so far, I'm assuming the GMs of teams with worse records these past two and one-half years wouldn't be 'accomplished' enough. I know you're not going to like it but there are worse GMs than Jerry Jones. Take a look around the league and some of the decisions made. The Jets have an accomplished GM, do you want him?

Jery Jones put out a competitive team with enough talent to win this year. Injuries and inept coaches have hurt. Can't blame the injuries on JJ but hiring Garrett was a mistake and hopefully, JJ cleans that mistake up soon.

* Jerry decides he's wanted to always live in Hawaii & he buys one of the islands. He runs a glass bottom boat business & leaves us mainlanders alone. Forever.

* new coaching staff.

* line heavy draft.

He has made nothing but mistakes for almost two decades. If Jerry has proven nothing else, he is inept as GM. The fact that Matt Millen isnt the GM doesnt give me a fuzzy feeling. You jump right over the fact that the problem here is cultural, and Jerry is the culture. From bad coaching hires, to bad drafts, to even worse contracts, the country club mentality is that it doesnt matter as long as the checks dont bounce. Nothing changes until an accountable and competent GM arrives. BTW this 5-5 team is staring hard at 6-10 based on what I saw last night, but hey if the whole it could be worse mentality gets you through the night, more power to you.

Address Dl and Ol in the draft. Safety is a priority

Austin, Bernadeau, Hanna, Durant, Spencer should all be gone. In additiontoa bunch of the one year rentals we are relying on the Dl.

RS12, so "inept" is 21-21 the past two and a half years and playing for the NFC East title the past two years? Care to name these 'competent' GMs you'd like to see here in Dallas? Let's take a look at their track records, shall we?

Cultural? Where is this cultural stuff coming from? I didn't jump over that and just because you call it a fact doesn't make it so. I don't see a cultural problem with the Cowboys. There isn't a GM with any type of history out there who hasn't made some bad coaching hires, bad drafts, and bad contracts.

Care to take a look at the Steelers GM right now? Recent history for him is Todd Haley as OC, recent bad drafts, and dealing with bloated contracts for aging vets. Jets GM? I don't think you want to go there. Clev GM? I don't think you want to go there either. TB GM? Miami GM?

We are in cap hell for a while so we have to take some lumps and not keep renegotiating too many more contracts next year.

Resign selvie and Hayden as backups.
Draft:
round 1 stud DT or DE
Round 2 stud run oriented OG
Round 3 DT
Trade round 4 back several times and accumulate several picks for cheap depth to stop the expensive contracts.
