What do you guys think about these?

LBs - Dontarrious Thomas, Takeo Spikes, Keith Brooking
DT -Mike Wright
DE - Michael Montgomery, Igor Olshansky

Reasonable price and upgrades ?

LOL I've already made my case for Takeo, but I got brutally bashed

Still would love for him to platoon the WILB position with a draftee

Hope we get a draft a good one...
I didn't see or pay attention of Takeo so I don't know if he still has it.

I know we can't lose Benett, Thomas and don't get anybody to replace them.

Slate you're right. We have Hatcher & Bowen and hopefully a good draft pick like Gilbert to use at DE.

Most of those guys would make me vomit if we signed them. Especially Brooking and Spikes.

Olshansky would be an ok add as a replacement for canty, but he's probably going to get too expensive.

That would be extremely dumb. Igor and Canty are the same player. You don't spend big money on 3-4 DE's.
I think he'll be cheaper than Canty and a great future replacement for Spears.

If they know 100% that they won't want Spears back next year then ya get him.

I don't like him in the Will of a 3-4 but that doesn't mean it couldn't work out well. I think our LBs need to be better covered or we need a big LB there. In the Will he will have more cover responsibilites which makes it difficult to have the ability to take on interior lineman and cover fast TEs and RBs.

The Will in Dallas is a tough job.

If we're making suggestions, I'm throwing OG Toniu Fonoti's name in here. He's about as 'under the radar' as he can get at this point.

Right up until the part where he got cut anyway...

Panthers | Fonoti expected to compete for right guard position

Charles Chandler, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers OG Toniu Fonoti is expected to compete for the right guard position in training camp.

Panthers | Fonoti down to 340 pounds
Mon, 05 May 2008 21:46:20 -0700
Charles Chandler, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers OG Toniu Fonoti appears fit and said he now weighs 340 pounds, less than he has at anytime since college. Team officials are thrilled with Fonoti and are hoping he has learned from his mistakes. He has made an impression with his dedication in the weight room.

He has a good history with Hudson Houck and was once considered "the next Larry Allen". He's still only 27 years old and I think he'd be a good fit in Dallas' power-line.

At worst, I think he'd do a better job than Cory Procter.

If the Boys signed Takeo Spikes, you are almost guaranteed not making the playoffs next year. Now can anyone tell me why? ;)

If Houck says bring him in, then I'm all for it. Houck knows him very well so if he's not willing to work with the guy then that tells me everything about his current playing state with this team. I wish Proctor would just be released. Get a young guy and give him the practice snaps if not a salvageabe Fonoti.

Because the guy has never been to a playoff game. Just like Wade has never won one so how is he supposed to help Romo win his first?

Actualy he's been to a playoff game with Cincy years ago. They lost it of course. That's the game Palmer busted his knee.
