Alot of people feel like he just got of the way of an unbelievably talented team that Butch Davis built.

Once he started getting his own recruits in there things went south in a hurry.

Nothing suprising here. The man was fired after they got trounced by louisville. Just like others have said, he won with butch davis recruits. Classy guy, but that's not good enough for miami fans.

His peeps, typically a list of the FBI's most wanted, need structure.
With all the prison breaks they would not study or even played well.

Stoops is overrated...he is a nice coach, but other than beating up on Texas a few times and a win over FSU years ago, he has been nothing special

on the other hand I do recall him losing multiple times to Les Miles amd Oklahoma St (lesser teams), getting mauled by Kansas St in a Big 12 championship game, and being flogged twice in championship games vs LSU and USC...he also made a total arse out of himself at halftime of said buttkicking to LSU
