Hard to tell when we are playing with the lead. They had only allowed 163 yards through 3 quarters.

The defense kept us in the game when the offense couldn't get it together for a quarter.

The defense gave up only 14 legit points. 7 in garbage time. I agree improvement is needed in some areas.

However i liked some things i saw. DB's challenge everything. We stopped AP for the most part.

Gotta tackle better....

No. Does anyone on this board want to step forward and predict our defense shuts out the Dolphins next week? Pats destroying them 43-0. Dallas could hand 40 on them but trust me our porous defense will allow them 17 points next week

They gave up 4.6 yards per play. Keenum threw for 221 on 37 attempts which equates for less than 6 ypa. They gave up 47 yards rushing on 17 carries which is 2.7 ypc.

Dak doesn't set them up on the short field with the pick we are talking about this game entirely differently.

No. The defense has been sleepy. The front 7 especially. Going to get carved up in the not to distant future. Too much talent for that but it is going to happen.

maybe, maybe not...... we gave up 10 points when the game mattered against Giants. big lead led to prevent defense....we were by 17 against washington and gave up a long garbage time drive..... so essentially they have given up 24 points when it mattered..........they are getting off the field and getting the ball back to the offense.

do we need to improve? yes.....a little more consistent pass rush and run defense....but we are not blitzing or any fancy packages....the defense is just straight up lining up and playing. a lot of zone coverage in prevent defense.
