Offense deliberation

Watching Quinn who knows both Dak and this offense (it’s still a Coryell pass game and philosophy), Dak was taking coverage sacks (which means playcalling generally) and waiting for plays downfield (which also means either players lack speed or lack of element of surprise). While the run game has improved, and should continue with better talent, I wish Schotty would give up calling plays and be the HC.
Here’s the question, if McVay, Shanahan, Ben Johnson or even Josh McDaniels had this offense, would they get better results from Dak and the WRs/TEs?
