My biggest concern is the offense going forward. The defense will recover from this and play pretty well I think.

Romo and Garrett are both out of synch. They both overreacted after the Lions game. Garrett appears afraid to turn the game over to Romo now - the current philosophy is almost a 180 degree shift since the Lions game.

Romo has no confidence throwing the ball down the field and is looking at the rush. He isn't trying to move laterally in the pocket and side-step rushers so he can make a play downfield. He isn't keeping his head up - he ducks his head down and tries to run outside. That isn't Romo.

The oline clearly can't block. And I don't get how the Center snaps always look so bad unless Romo has asked for the pop-up snap?

We just won't win many games being a Run first team. And Romo has to make big plays in the passing game downfield to get on a hot streak - he is a streak player.

Please Garrett, go back to the previous offensive philosophy. Tell Tony to do the same. Its our only chance. Checkdown won't win us any games.

Before you guys tell me the line isn't good enough to sling it - we racked up a ton of yard the 1st 4 games with the wide open philosophy.

Because the offense works best when you do play action. PERIOD. In the last 2 games (when they have tried), they have run MUCH BETTER. But, Garrett seems too intent on passing his way out of everything. Philly won because the run set up the pass last night AND Rob ran a scared defensive scheme (Safeties WAY back deep). Norv continues to run this O to perfection by having Rivers MASTER the play-action pass.

It's not Romo. Look what he was able to do on the last few drives when the handcuffs came off...

It's the offensive line combined with Garrett's inability to adjust in his play call.

Here's our identity.

Get up to the line of scrimmage. Do a bunch of bullcrap before snapping the ball. Finally snap the ball. Throw a 3 yard pass.

The Cowboys need to simplify. Get up to the LOS and run a play. We aren't good enough to do anything with complex and Garrett isn't good enough to teach it.

Basically I wish we had Jim Harbaugh as our coach so we could actually have a coaching advantage for once.

Garrett and Romo the real problems. The Play calling and Quarterback execution is killing us. Garrett is simply getting outcoached and Romo plays like hes intimidated. It's a bad combo thats getting worse.

.

When in crunch time, throw to Witten and hope he breaks a 90 yard run.

I love when Romo does his now famous throw and duck when he feels pressure like hes scared of the hit coming and just trying to get rid of it.

You forgot to mention that we dont snap the ball till the last second......and the defenses we face know full well .... :(

Can you blame him honestly? If it happened 2-3 times a game it would be ok but we have d-lineman flying at him all game long and on every single drive.

The the head coach should address this.....If Romo has the jitters...happy feet because of injuries........then put someone else in...

Facing pressure is part of being a QB......yes our OL is pathetic....but still...if you cant handle the heat.....get out of the kitchen

Yes the head coach should address something. Maybe the playcalling that cant seem to get the receivers open in routes quick enough to get the ball released.

Or maybe the play calling that doesnt take advantage of the weakness in the defense they are creating by locking down the outside...

Wait a minute. You were not looking for answers.... Sorry to get in the way of you and your agenda.

Carry on.

I would agree with this above. People can say the offensive line is bad.. but Romo doesn't barely scramble at all, he looks l like an old man in there, not someone who is determined to win. I have always stood by Romo but something is just not right with him and I don't see us going anywhere with him as the QB.

Jason Garrett is getting out coached every game and you can tell he also doesn't trust Romo.

We need to start thinking about trading Romo and finding a new QB. It won't be Kitna or Mcgee either. This team has a lot of re-building to go through.

To be fair the Lions game + the jets game made garrett change. Last i looked all the fans wanted to run the ball run it some more do not let Romo make 40 passes. What is it make up your mind people. Garrett is trying to protect Romo from Romo and he tried to run it last night which we had some success the issue was the defense melted down and the offense shot it self in the foot when it did have the ball.

huh?....it was direct response to Romo Jitters ....because of his past injuries...If his injuries or his past injuries are causing Romo to have jitters or happy feet....then its time to get someone else in there....

I never said the playcalling...scheme...etc wasnt to blame....Ive already posted several times today how JG needs to game plan better seeing how a cover 2 shuts us down.

It's not impossible for an offense to operate with a bad pass-blocking offensive line.

I know it's not an apples to apples comparison, but looks at Aaron Roger's 2009 season. Rogers was sacked a league leading 50 times and it would have been closer to 80 if it weren't for Roger's mobility.

He ended that season with 4400 yards, 30 TDs, 7 Interceptions, and a 103 QB rating.

Ultimately, the Packers reconfigured their offense with the understanding that they would have to get rid of the ball almost immediately.

I don't see those adjustments from JG.
