Offense is the answer right now

Although it's hard to accept..it will take several years to build a defense. The offense has all the majority of the cap on that side of the ball. I think you fix what you can of offense to make it dominate again. The results will benefit the entire team. Injuries is what stopped us in 2020. Chances of another perfect storm of injuries like in 2020 is highly improbable. So stop giving into fears of failure.

And stop thinking quick fixes for a defense that is as yet starved for cap and talent.. not a strong part of the team and has not been for 25 years is going to suddenly change with Quinn. It did not with Marinelli nor Robby nor anybody we have brought in since Dave Wannstead. Who had a UM staff he brought in with Jimmy Johnson..a defensive HC.

McCarthy is offensive. He is here to push Dak to a championship..not lead a defensive charge. So this draft will support the offense to improve.Just seems clear to me. I say draft OL and TE as its our weakness areas on offense. Then sign FAs as teams trim their rosters after the draft is done.

Just seems reasonable to me given where we are.

Not really. New DC, get Jaylon/LVE back on track, build on Hill/Gallimore's season, start Gregory, add 4-5 new rooks, add the new FA's......there are lot of reasons to believe they will be much better THIS year.

And after McCarthy left they spent heavy in free agency on defense and drafted defense high as well. They were better in those seasons IMO.

I agree we’re not that far off from being serviceable. We got 4 picks in the first 99. No reason we can’t get a CB, FS and DT.. These Pitts fans are delusional.

We need defense no matter how much you don’t want it. This team doesn’t like FA so they need to build that defense thru the draft

Brady and Mahomes, much less Dak, are not winning a championship with the Cowboys defense.

Until there's significant improvement on the defensive side of the ball, any talk of championships is just wishful thinking.

I don’t think anybody wants all defense. OL is a must. We just don’t want premium picks used on TE’s WR’s
