Any news on how this is going? Is Paul Chryst going to even interview? It seems to me that the Pittsburgh job was the last attractive offer out there besides us and staying at Wisconsin, yet he hasn't interviewed here (to my knowledge) or signed an extension with UW.

If it's not going to be Chryst, who does everyone think it'll be? I can see John Garrett getting the position, but I don't know how I'd feel about that. Are there any other names that anyone has heard?

If not Chryst I'm getting the vibe Garett will stay in house. John seems like the logical choice. Keith O'Quinn and Wesley Phillips the dark horses although Garrett really gave Phillips an increased roll and a great deal of trust when he was promoted. I know he thinks the world of Wesley but I dont think either of them are ready. Several months ago I predicted Wilson could be a front runner for the job and with him extending a contract it may be more of a likely scenario now.

Yea, thats about it. The OC position here is just a glorified gopher, Garrett is and will remain the OC.

I would not expect a big hame like Henning I just think as a HC you have to be on top of everything not just 1 side of the ball or the other. I fully expect Garrett to call the plays on offense I just think he needs that right hand man that he trust to oversee the offense to help free him up

No, he basically got fired. they are gonna have a new OC there. John Garrett is one of those underr consideration.

Not hiring an Offensive Coordinator should allow us to spend some dollars to allow lure a high end D Coordinator away.

I think Dallas will hire someone with the title OC but they want be calling plays Garrett will. They will be working on Game Plans and etc. which is not unusual. But, I think he'll have somebody in this role to be his right hand man.
