The general consensus I am feeling from the board is that the reins will be loosened tomorrow and the offense given a chance to play a little.
I'm sorry but I don't think that is going to happen at all.
Parcells was pissed last year with the way that Vinny performed when they told him to go out there and run the game. Admittedly Vinny had less weapons at his diposal and no running game at all, but I think all the interceptions and big losses have decided what we will see on offense for this whole year.
But for 5 minutes on Monday Parcells conservative offense and power defense had the Commanders sewn up. But for two plays Parcells vanilla offense delivered him what he wants, the result.
If you think that two plays and a loss is going to wipe out his memories of last year throwing games away by relying on trying to make better plays and allowing the quarterback to play, I think you are mistaken.
Just my opinion but I think we will see more short passing, screens and dunks. It's going to be more of the same from here to the end of the season.
Its a shame as I think this offense is capable of much more, Bledsoe is not Interceptorverde and with our WR's healthy and Julius to deal with we could tear apart some poor defenses. Bottom line, last season decided what our offense will be like this season. Parcells made his mind up already and he'll stick with that decision regardless of one freak loss.
