Offensive fireworks

Open anything up ? Not with this QB.
Will Dak allow Dak to open it up?
You guys realize that when the Cowboys in fact did open it up, in the last two minutes of each half when they spread it out and allowed Dak play fast, Dak plays exponentially better than any other time in the game.

If you dispute this then you’re disputing facts backed up by guys like J Witt who expressed frustration with Linehan not going hurry up more often.

Would like to see Dak trust his arm more and give guy more chances downfield in 1-1 coverage.

I dont Disput that. Like i wont dispute that every QBs numbers go up in 2 Minute drills or at the end of the game when teams are trailing.

This QB has alot of Imitations. Dont make the mistake to hang them on the OC.

We now let the OC go. Have a legit nr1 WR and brought back his security target. There is no more blah blah now. Now he has to show some more then his running ability or his fighting spirit.

This offense is so stacked with talent around him.

I guess you missed a Giants game when we had over 500 yards. You understand it's all about who's calling the game plan. He's more than capable. I don't mind keeping it under 250. shows balance most teams that went over 400 yards actually lost the game

It didn’t work in the playoffs and we are likely not to be as good on defense this year
We didn't have the ball often enough in the Rams game Truth and defense will be much better this season. Our backfield the experience was priceless last season. You do realize we are the youngest starting team in the league.

My football knowledge is extensive don't let my minimum posts fool you I have a Landry's hat from the last forum

This thread is just low fruit for those who love to bash our coaching. In reality, our offense is slated to be much more aggressive with Kellen Moore as OC and Kitna in Dak's ear.

,,,durr,,,and yer' point being is,,,,?o_O

* if the offense continually relies on the lame game tactics of ball control yer' gonna continue to enjoy the fandom of lame game exhibited efforts,,,,what yer' espousing is an admiration of the Attack,Attack,Attack Blitzkrieg & even a little BANZAI style of offensive endeavors, now take this little tidbit of factuality I'm fixing to bestow upon you, my Friend, and you ought to tie it up in a sailors knot& hide it in yer' cape,,, the aggressive attack attitude of 4 quarter football don't reside in COACH GARRETT'S BAG,BABY!o_O

I can’t imagine they’d fire Linehan then handcuff his replacement to the same exact concepts and tendencies. I don’t think he’s going to remake the offense, but I would put my money on him making the offense more diverse and disguised.

Jerry Jones has been pump faking this fan base for decades now. And that fan base for the most part will jump every time. Sadly...

First you think one game makes a good impression of what he can do ?
Second who called that game ? Wasnt it the same OC that called the other games too ?

So where do you want to go with your argumentation ? Dak can open it up because he did it once but in 90% of the cases wasnt able to ? But that is all the OC fault because he let not do it ?

Sometimes the truth is very easy. You just have to accept it. But instead people try to find complicated solutions because they are emotionally envolved.

Dak is way too inaccurte for an NFL QB to open it up. He lacks vision and cant make more then a one read throw. He is not good enough to be successfull on QB option plays. He misses the read way too often.

He for sure is a fighter. And he can run to some degree. Until now (after 3 years) he looks like a good college QB. Backup NFL.

He’s scoring more TDS per season than 2 time super bowl winning ugh it hurts but probably hall of game QB Eli Manning and turning it over considerably less.

If they can win with him, why can’t we with dak.

Yeah, a backup player who’s won more games than anyone not named Brady. A backup who’s the only QB outside of Peyton Manning and Andrew luck to THROW touchdowns at the rate he is during his first three seasons. A backup that set the record for game winning drives.

Are you sure you aren’t secretly a giants fan?

He’s also above average at least at literally every depth of target over his career.

And he makes a lower percentage of off target throws than Brady or Rodgers. Not total throws because he throws less, a lower percentage. But yeah, 67% is innacurate. What’s your completion percentage?

32 NFL teams, and he is only good enough to be a backup? Come on - he isn’t top tier, no question, but are you really suggesting he isn’t good enough to start over Tannehill, Dalton, Rosen, Bortles, and a number of others? In reality he is at least a mid level starter, and still young enough to get better.
